Absolutely fine, and i'm glad you could do it yourself. There areother mods without USLEEP, tho. But when i made this they were a bit outdated, i think.
To say the truth, i don't think so, because the loading screen is actually loading the gameplay area, so a single 3D model and some effects probably won't make any difference. For me, it's just aesthetics. And thx, i like clear loading screens, hate how Beth fuel them with a lot of information.
Following my tutorial in description, you would need to leave DESC - Description unchanged in xEdit. This line is the text field that appears in game, that i changed to 'Loading'.
Seems like a really nice mod. I tried this in Special Edition after porting it (modifying its master to the unofficial special edition patch, and saving it in the new CK to get the correct form 44). Sadly I could not get it to work properly. All the 3d models still show, but the text is changed to "loading". Special Edition seems to be ignoring the "null" reference method this mod uses - I don't know.
Just saying as I would really like it if someone made this mod for Skyrim Special Edition.
Sorry, i don't play SE, so i don't know how it works. Someone already asked me about it but i don't know why it doesn't work. The NULL should make the game not search for any nif file, if this is loading last in your load order, so the game is indeed ignoring it completely.
This works fine for FO4 though.
Have you tried this mod already? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23778
Have you already tried to open xEdit, deep copy Load Screen from skyrim.esm to a new plugin, then delete only DESC - Description and NNAM - Loading Screen art?
Hi thanks for the suggestions. Sorry, I did not try it as I found the TESG loadscreen replacer mod which seems to suit my needs. But if I need a no load screen mod in future, I will try your suggestions, thank you.
Glad this is still something, i'm not playing Skyrim (anymore) (right now) (?) but i already installed mods to take FO4 stuff from loading screen too, they start to be annoying after some time haha
NVM, seem like it conflict with other main menu mods like the no bethesda intro... but now i have the normal loading, with 3d models and the experience tab, and the loading msg
Oh i'm sorry to read that, i never thought this would make the game crash in any way (unless you don't have the requirements, of course), mainly because this just changes the loadscreens records and only them. Other mods should only overwrite my changes if loaded after my plugin. Actually the only mods that would conflict are the ones that change the vanilla loadscreens, because i made no changes to the main menu. If you look at my "tutorial" on how to reproduce my changes, you can easily see which mods are conflicting with mine in Tes5edit. And you can make the patch yourself removing the information from other mod's loadscreens.
Hum... guess you can just edit the existing ones. Open skyrim.esm and dlcs with TES5Edit, find the Loading Screen section and deep copy as override into a new mod, then open each one and change the text to anything you want, and delete the 3d model.
From other mods esps? Well, i don't know. Never tested deleting the loadscreens, though it may just work. If you don't want them nevermore, make a backup of the esp and delete them, then test in game. Understand that i just opened my Tes5Edit and tried this method :p I don't know what triggers the loadscreens, so i went to the safe side haha
