Used this mod since I first bought Skyrim and I recently started playing with it again and it's still amazing. However, every now and then when I enter the house I find that it's been reset; all the doors will be closed and every single mannequin will no longer be wearing the armor I put on them. Anybody know of a fix???

I absolutely love this house and have used it for years, I would really really love a port to SSE as I have moved over. I dont know if you are still around Lithxe but if you are and dont want to port it yourself could you point me in the direction of a tutorial to do it for my own use. I really want to carry on enjoying the fantastic view, listening to the bard, sitting by the fire with my doggy lying at my feet, and having my band of followers happily ensconced in their own little space (as well as the handsome guard of course).
    Many thanks

Just 2 words come to mind. LOVE IT!

I like the spacious inside, the tranquility and placement even River, the vendor outside. It feels like home ^^

I do have 1 thing that bothers me. Its a small thing but what use is a pet dragon if you cannot feed it? The only reason I know it was there was the note on the floor (and I looked up after reading it). The dragon is adorable, why not add something so you really can feed it
Also a little question. Is there any use for the Dragon Bridge key?

Again, love it! It's worth all the praise I can give it ^^

I'm so sad right now! I really want to use this mod because I think the player homes included with the game are really lacking, and of all the player housing mods I've looked at this one has the best design layout and most storage options (lots of mannequins, chests, and satchels in really convenient places). Not to mention it's really beautiful! But, I noticed in the comments a few people said that the storage inside the home has randomly reset and all the storage contents are now gone... i.e. they lost all their stored items. OUCH. Sure, you could in theory use the command console to get some of them back but there are some issues with that, mostly that you wouldn't remember everything you had in there unless you kept a separate list, and also some of the items can't really be regenerated such as the weapons you're given to represent your being a Thane of a city as those are randomly generated at spawn.

Based on the description it seems like the mod author would have known about the "no reset zone" flag for the cell and set it properly, because they mention in one of the bug fixes that they fixed that issue for the masks storage. However, after a 2 people commented that their items were lost, and a 3rd person commented that they fixed this issue themselves on a newer version of this mod, I'm too paranoid to use it and risk losing items that I've spend hundreds of hours acquiring. The mod author doesn't seem to be active anymore and hasn't addressed any comments/bugs in roughly two years.

Also, this player home suffers from the mannequin bug where after equipping armor onto a mannequin, leaving the home and then re-entering causes the armor to become invisible. The mod author mentions that this is a Skyrim bug and not specifically related to this mod, but none of my mannequins in any of the vanilla player homes suffer from this bug. I looked up the mod this mod author is referring to and I think it's called Vanilla Mannequin Script Fix, but the author states that it may only work with mods if the mod has the mannequin set up correctly (apparently there are several wrong ways to do it).

I'm so sad. I really love this home. I installed it temporarily just to walk around in it a while and it is amazing... but the broken mannequins and the risk of losing all my gear is not worth it. Is there anyone that can explain how to fix these issues, or fix and re-upload a new version?

And yet after two years you did not learn the CK or possibly the Jaxonz Positioner to try to correct any problems for your copy?

CK & Jaxonz Positioner?? What are you talking about?
You mean that we mod users should have the same skills as you mod makers or blame ourself that we loose items because we aren't aquiring modding skills??
      Wow...

For anyone else who might want to use this mod. You could use the haven bag mod to store items and this mod for a place to chill out.

Downloaded for a test. Upon arrival I thought that I was really going to like this place. Right on the hill where the Saxon Norman Fort is. House looked very nice.

But then I went inside. The inside was way to large based upon the exterior. Ruined any immersion factor. Then I discovered the basement...again way too large and largely dwemer architecture. I'm not a fan of that style. But the real problem, besides the massive size of the place, were all of the competing styles.

The only really great room was the den, beautifully done! That should have been the inside of the house, and it could have fit the exterior.

The smithing outside was well done. The smithing inside seemed redundant and out of place.

The "lobby" upon entering was not only too large but seemed mostly wasted space.

I realize that a lot of work went into this place, but it was just over done for one place, especially based upon the exterior dimensions. It could have been broken up into several different house mods.

Did not bother bringing it up in the CK to see about any respawning issue.

Wonderful mod I definitely endorsed it. I have one question though? I use Mod Organizer because it doesn't tamper with the Skyrim Data folder it uses a virtual data folder and I need to install the AppleSpawner2.pex file but Mod Organizer doesn't know what to do with it and neither do I? Thanks for any help you can offer and once again....GREAT MOD!

A very nice and tastefully decorated home...I may just have found a new place to live :-)
But what's with the exterior front door to the left of the entrance, it has no interior counterpart ?

Just downloaded and installed, still a wonderful looking player home....don't know if the issues listed in last few posts will pop up, have not tried armor on mannequins yet. I did have a custom follower with me (Annie the mule, wonderful mod itself btw) and did not disappear on me.

My one gripe thus far, and it is minimal: you have this HUGE wonderfully OPEN mansion, nicely located, efficiently appointed with tasteful decor...but only 2 beds?? I mean, you could fit an army in the basement, but they'd have no sleep area which would work nicely for MHIYH and such. Just sayin.

I endorsed regardless, because of the beauty of work done on the inside especially.
