I originally created this file as a mod to compensate for the "almost useless" master destruction spells found at level 100. Since I enjoyed the initial destruction spells found in the game Flames, Frostbite and Sparks the most, I thought, shouldn't it be awesome if these we boosted up at max level stats, to serve as replacement for the current master destruction spells?
I modded the spells and balanced the damage/magicka expenditure ratio and I added the finishing effects of disintegrate, paralyze and incinerate effects to round them off.
Then I thought of other utility spells which should be upgraded to master level because the original master level spells were underwhelming. This led to Master Healing, Master Candlelight, Stahlrimskin and Master Invisibility.
Version 1.1
I tweaked the magicka cost of Master Candlelight it should cost 200 to cast now and Master Invisibility's Quiet Casting perk is working properly now. It doesn't sound silenced when casting it, but even the Falmer won't hear it even if you are standing right next to them when casting the spell.
The no friendly fire is so well done. These spells can be used at a lower level with a nerf from the tes5 edit and then the values can be restored or boosted back up with Skytweak as the game goes on. This is so underrated.
My trusty Stalhrim Skin is properly the most useful spell in the entire game. I haven't had a single playthrough - Mage or non Mage - without these spells. Awesome. Thank you!
Is the range increased, as well? Very annoying that hitting dragons is impossible with the "concentration" style spells because they're too far away when they're flying around.
Damn this mod deserve more endorse. Why dont u add more spell dude. From novice to master hahaha. Now my follower never get hurt by my spell. Btw awesome spell mod
Hmmmm I wonder if it would be easy to apply the "no harm to friendlies" to the rest of the vanilla spells, or if it would cause enemy NPC spells to not hurt the dragonborn/followers.
Awesome, I made an archer character, got bored, switched to destruction and when I saw how HORRIBLE master spells are if you're playing in legendary difficulty, switched back to archery.
With this now I can turn every enemy on fire! Thank you very much!
