When I started modding I decided to work on simple things first. There are many mountain mods out there. But this mod or should I say all my mods are meant for practising and learning. Majestic Mountains was my very first mod ever released and I learned a lot already. And my main reason for modding is creating enjouable content for you. But I figured out that dealing with compatibility eats up too much time. I cannot create content while creating patches. And this is the reason why I'm giving the permission to everyone to: -create patches -create your own version of the mountains -manipulate everything in this mod and share it -use this mod with your own worldspaces Everything in this mod is free for sharing and changing. I simply want a little credit. You don't need to ask for permission. Permission is granted with this post. I want to expand my break a little bit but I'm still working on more content.
Guess I'm in the unlucky group of users experiencing ctds because of this mod. After trying everything at this point the only thing left to do is try MM with a totally vanilla Skyrim, like absolutely zero mods but MM.
If anyone manages to discern the transmundane, please share your elder knowledge.
all I can tell you is that most of the time ctds are caused by meshes, they have links to textures and other things I believe and this can make your game crash when something is missing or the things its connected to aren't what the mod meshes expect
Does anyone know if the SE version of this has far surpassed the LE version as far as updates go? If the SE version is much more updated I'd rather just convert that version back to LE
Now all I need is a non-DLC version so I can use this beauty in Enderal FS. Unless someone could tell me which references I have to remove in EnderalEdit, so I can get rid of the unnecessary masters and can use it in Enderal? I managed to remove Update.esm and Dawnguard.esm easily, but I cant seem to get rid of the Dragonborn.esm. Any ideas?
I have a problem with the mod. Textures of large rocks and mountains are not displayed for some reason, instead they are just a gray background. I've been struggling with this for three days now. Maybe someone knows what to do with it. How many times I searched the Internet, but almost no one had such a problem.
And by the way, for some reason when I downloaded the mod from this site, the game just crashed at launch. So I downloaded it from another site. Maybe that's the whole point? If so, how do I make sure that the game doesn't crash?
I 've tried a lot of mountain mods, this is by far the best. I found it because of Gopher, talking about SE mods on his Twitch channel. I'm using the Darkside version, it's amazing. Thanks and endorsed!
I found a bug with this mod and Castle Volkihars LOD. The mod causes the lod to not load or be seen from the beach and even in the map. I found this out when I uninstalled the mod and saw the castle was finally back.
