I guess we don't. Potions Animated Fix got everything we need. MCM menu is perfect. Great mod absolutely flawless at work. ------------------- All you need is SkyUI and FNIS. Don't forget to run FNIS once you got this mod installed.

Patch it! I don't use Smart NPC Potions, but this mod runs on an edit to the potions' magic effect. Should be an easy patch to carry over that effect, or copy keywords or whatever from Smart NPC.
Works decently. Keep in mind: you have to enable it in the MCM or it will do nothing at first. Also, only applies to certain items.
Do not mix it up with Improved Potion Animation; this mod only works on basic Potions (i.e. Potion of Minor Healing, Stamina, Magicka, or Wellbeing), NOT Sleeping Tree Sap, Blood Potions, drinks, etc. You will need a patch for any of those, or for anything that also edits the basic potions.
Can confirm this works with Nemisis, but an annoying issue using the retort with CACO, meaning it quits the menu every time I make a distilled ingredient, and shows the drinking animation. Any fix for that? Can't for the life of me find it but I was sure there was a post about a console command to stop the animation playing when using food or something that might help.
I've used the animation from this mod and combined it with this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35572?tab=description&BH=1 so that I have a mod that doesn't melt when you drink a potion when paralysed or on a horse- please may I release it for SSE?
it should work with Nemesis, there's literally no reason it shouldn't. Unless this mod added a patch to FNIS, and Nemesis currently doesn't support this. It does come with this file under the behavior folder "FNIS_PotionAnimatedFix_Behavior.hkx" --> but I think it should work since Nemesis will generate a FNIS plugin. My question is doesn't iNeed come with this animation as well?
