    I don't play as an Argonian and I never plan to but I must admit this looks very appealing Great mod!

    How did you make it less shiny with paint.net?

      Open the specular map (xxxx_s.dds), reduce saturation and/or brightness, hit save. DXT1 or DXT5 should be fine. Be sure to generate mip maps.

      Could you not just reduce the Specular Strength and Glossiness of the mesh In nifscope? Correct me if i'm wrong but would it not have the same affect?

      I'm thinking it was done this way in order to be compatible with mesh or skeleton replacers.

      It was just easier for me to edit the textures rather than the model, and it also makes for a smaller filesize.
