THAT is exactly the mod I was looking for. Put the NPC behind you or push it in front of you! Without throwing them around unfriendly. In Fallout 4, I'm currently running around with 37 companions. You can just push them aside there. In Skyrim, they stand in the way like a rock. Your mod would be a real blessing.
But I can't get the 1, 2 and 3 buttons to switch. I'm using SkyUI and the numbers are shortcuts for weapon, gear, or spell switching. I don't want to switch weapons every time I want to push someone.
I've docked around the scripts as much as I can, but no matter what I do and how I change the values there (in all 6 files), the key assignment remains as it is. I also tried to delete the keys 1-3 from the mod because the left alt would be enough for me. But I can't do it. It just doesn't work. Please help.
Hey! First of all, I just wanted to say that I really like this mod, and works just fine. BUT: I don't know wether this function isn't included, or it's because of the several other mods I've installed, NPC's just won't teleport after me if I fast-travel. Soooo... I would be happy about every answer I can get and have a good day. Bye!
Are you pressing the correct keys? Left Alt, Page Up, 1, 2, etc. Do you have the latest version of SKSE? Are you attempting to run this in SSE? (That's untested)
If you have another mod that takes up those key bindings, then you'd probably need to rebind them manually in the script. I left the source there in the mod so it can easily be done. In the script is a link to a page with all the key codes - the page that tells you that Left Alt is number 56 - and all you have to do is replace the numbers in the OnInit and OnPlayerLoadGame events with the new numbers.
I forgot to mention that you'll have to load the mod in the Creation Kit and compile the script. The quest that the script is attached to is called GrabQuest, and the script is attached to the player alias.
so tried rebinding teleport to right alt as i have nothing bound to that key. but no response to key press on my follower. see image below and see if that is the issue http://imgur.com/XAxdP0N
No. That script used to have a property but I took it out before release. It's there in case I ever find a way to get the MCM menu working - which would (or should) allow you to change the binding in-game.
That's not the problem. Did you compile the script after editing it? And do you also have SKSE installed properly?
I have stuff bound to Left Alt as well, when I look at the Controls tab in the game I see Run set to this key, but it doesn't affect the script working or not.
Okay, so upon further inspection, it appears as though the mod doesn't load for new players. I don't know why, because the quest that the script is attached to is supposed to be enabled at the start of the game onwards - and since there are no stages you can't complete it (and since it's type is None it doesn't show up in the journal). That being said, it may have been as simple as reattaching the GrabQuestScript script to the Player Alias under the GrabQuest quest, but if that wasn't the problem, I went ahead and added a letter to the game that, when read, activates the quest. The letter is located on the ground in the Helgen cave, right before you exit into Skyrim for the first time. If not, you could probably always spawn it in using console commands. I believe this is the item ID but I haven't tested it. 0100433F
ok with note read mod works fine. I suppose without the note one would need to start a new game for it to kick in properly, i should have tested this. but this works fine now thanks.

EDIT: nvm, works fine. It was a problem on my side... one of my plugins was missing its master.
