I need help. It appears that I have done everything correctly, but the animation will not play. All that happens is that my character suddenly dies and ends up in a sitting pose. im using nexus mod loader. FNIS states that all of the animations were loaded and that there were no warnings. I don't know what to do, please help.
Seppuku - the act of restoring one's honor by literally spilling one's guts... Skyrim certainly has a mod for everything now doesn't it?
Can't speak from a culturally authentic perspective but if this was the only option afforded to me by my upbringing... I think I'd opt to murder my lord and his whole household, over this... The ronin had it right... these feudal lords be crazy!
All in all I'm happy to see a mod like this around. :D
I like the idea of this! I'll try it out. And now I have, my main question is the "fight" camera angle takes over so you only see your character from behind. have you a way that can be changed?
Useful for when you are about to die in battle, I guess (if you have time to button mash to Seppuku while bandits are bludgeoning you to death...) or when your mission / game is such a failure it is the only way out other than the usual CTD. Lol.
As a user of Death Alternative, this mod then takes over. It would be good if Seppuku and DA could be integrated, like as an option avoiding capture or robbery?
Also, Deadly Mutilation comes to mind for gory effects...
My character does the seppuku, but I can only see from behind. How do I view from the front? Also, if I cast Harakiri on my follower or wife, they would commit harakiri but wouldn't die. They only do the wounded pose.
You can hold F to turn the camera around. If they go into the wounded pose, that means they are essential. Still gotta find a way to make them non-essential. For now, just set them to non-essential if you really want them dead.
