This is a patch I found using a simple Google search sets the 'fMaxTime' value in 'Skyrim.ini' and fixes the physics going crazy, no guarantees, but worth a shot.

Has 6 options/files to apply

30fps
75fps
90fps
120fps
144fps
240fps

My patch uses a blank .esp file to load an .ini of the same name, patch can be manually applied to your Skyrim.ini if you're pushing that 255 .esp limit, if so follow the source link at the bottom.

And if you applied it manually, to restore it just delete the line added or copy/paste this:

fMaxTime=0.0166
