Aside from small bugs that are fixablein xedit, the main issue i have with this mod is, that it is too spacious. By this i do not mean that it has more facilities than i need. Instead the facilities are more spacious than neccessary. Basically the halls and rooms are too big. It looks pretty and impressive, but quickly turns into a walking simulator when i actually want to use the castle. Navigating this thing takes about the same time as a big city. By my estimate everything could be 30% smaller without a reduction of features, facilities or space for NPCs.
When entering the main pool, the far steps - offset down - npcs cling to the last step. The npcs are having trouble with the chairs in the main hallway - they can't all sit on them - close to the table. Thank you.
the Shield's design/texture/mesh doesn't load. I got a glitchy line flying all over coming from the shield when worn by npc. I can equip it but I cannot see it.
Please add more unique item display in the armory so that not only daedric artifact I can put in there. Hope you notice this recommendation. Thank you!
This is the best player home mods I see. Very neat it has all the things you want and it is very easy to walk around and you wont lost unlike other castle that have so much stairs it confusing like did I went there or here. I like the idea of magical elevator and the sakura tree in the balcony. This castle fits to the dragon born
Auto-undressing could work for the character as well which didn't even work in the Bathing Luxurie mod that was deleted from here on the Nexus, it worked for NPC and character.
Ha! If you wan't to write factual critics all you can do ist to compare Lazz with Lazz. The master of castle creation. Still moonstone castle and skystone castle, the earlier ones, seem like the quintessence for the later works to me and some of them may be too extravagant and monumental and you feel lost just when climbing the throne like it was a hillside.
Now Dragonfalls Castle has some spectacular bathing areas - I wonder why you never created some skyrim spa - where they come from all over skyrim to get their body - stressed from civil war - a good massage and some recreation in hot tubes.
Dragonfalls Castle is something close to it and to me, personally, goes beyond the idea of a player home or even a player castle. It looks and feels like something public. (like Solstice Castle too, imho). So if I compare it with some public bathouse mod immediatly I have to say it's probably the most beautiful bathhouse in whole Skyrim with, well, some extras like a large armory.
I can't sort which castle mod by Lazz is the best. Each one ist too special and creates a different mood/atmosphere.
I never encountered serious problems or crashes and the same with Dragonfall Castle. They are all highly usable (except of Snow Elf Palace maybe, where my follower sometimes get stuck passing the throne), well navmeshed and functional. To my taste the cells are sometimes to big. I know for playing it's an advantage. If you want to put some extras with CK, some npcs perhaps and give them packages to work, it can be troublesome. Sometimes I wish there was one ot two cells more especially to sparate the bathing areas. As I hate it when my blacksmith stays half the day in the pool instead of smithing. Lol. So you can't use simple sandbox packages but have to create them with specific idle markers. Not really a big issue. I know.
The big pool withe the gallery and the small bedrooms below are a perfect design for a spa and makes me aware that it is important to have small an large rooms. If every room is big nothing is monumental but if you have a big hall and small bedrooms - the hall will look monumental. Therefore imho - it's not about making it bigger and bigger but about proportions. That's the only plea I have. Sometimes your bedrooms get to big, like giant dormitories. but I doubt knights or children at home sleep like guards. Imho the concept of a few large living/working/bathing areas and more smaller bedrooms they make a better diversity. Those doors you find a little room behind can make a castle more interesting. It's a play with the opposition of tiny and spectacular I guess.
Just a thought.
Thank you so much for your work, Lazz, master of castles.
Has anyone here succeeded in moving Serana on this Player Home with Marriable Serana+Multiple Adoptions+Spouses Enhanced? I'm having trouble in moving her here.
Marriable Serana in not compatible with Multiple Adoptions the problem not from this player home the problem is from Marriable Serana+Multiple Adoptions need compatible patch.
Turns out it was Castle Volkihar Rebuilt on what's causing trouble to move Serana on any player home(the candlestick which set Serana's home was the cause therefore i removed it with tes5edit), about M.Serana+M.Adoptions i have no idea what kind of compatibility issue lans139 is talking about because it's already 5 months since i posted my comment and fortunately i had never experienced any issues between M.Serana and M.Adoptions.

Genuinely curious since I have both of these mods installed.
