Is there any way to make the armor look like the first user screenshot shown on the page? I keep getting the skull version instead of the simple black leather with hints of red version, even after installing the old file with the “black cloth and leather replacer” file overwriting it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for the amazing mod.

Old post but I would also like to know is it possible for us to get that armor.

      https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/110/images/85353-0-1500680431.jpg

      Solved/Edit:
      1. Okay so download the old version (Ebony black somethingsomething) of this mod, the bottom one, then install it.
      2. Then download this mods ''black cloth leather version''.
      3. Unpack the Black cloth leather version to a new little folder you created
      4. Go to tarnished section and yoink the cuirass cloth and skirt_d files and make them replace the files of the mod you downloaded in step 1.
The pathing for the mod for me at least is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data\textures\armor\resplendent\tarnished

      Enjoy.

Got to say that i downloaded the armor only cause i stubled upon this mod, perfect choice of colors the skull is a nice touch also, it gives a vibe of a tragic corupted paladin that fell trying to prevent the dark void and now is its servant. endorsed, also id like to note that at certain places with dark and oudoors at night the red cloths look black maybe its cause im using weathers of tamriel? oh well thank you for your work!

Hello, Thanks I'm glad you like it.

I did deliberately make the cloth as dark red as possible, I can't see it well at night unless I'm passing a light source :D.. which is just how I like it. I can upload a lighter red version if you like?

Is it possible for you to make an HD version without the skull? I kinda miss the royal bird on my chest. Either way, amazing retexture of an already exquisite armor!

Could you make both options of the mod into standalones? Do not feel forced to anything though it is just a request.

I really love this retexture you did with this awesome armor, I was wondering if you could do something similar with this other armor that is also as impressive as the Resplendent armor.

if you could that would be sweet, and again thank you for this kick-ass retexture. Hope to hear from you soon

      Hello, Thanks.

I already love that armor, not sure how I would improve it to be honest. It's already very HD and badass. I could make it darker and more brutal I guess.

I have allot on my hands at the moment, newborn and a 3 year old. So I don't have allot of time to play/mod. The next thing I was thinking of working on is https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20618/? JackoOs Knightly Armory as per Dreadborns request. I might be tied up in that for a while as it's a set of multiple armors.

Drop me a mail so I don't forget about your suggestion.

I know this mod is epic as f*#@ but I cannot install it onto my Mod Organizer. I could install it on Nexus Mod Manager but I could never find the armor. I guess I was kinda looking for "Resplendent Armor Red and Black" or whatever but I still went through all my smithing options at the Forge. when I try to install It to my Mod Organizer it says it "cannot open the output file" with the direct path to the "Readme.txt". it also says I I need special permission to change the files? I thought providing Admin Permission would be enough but NOPE. I can install and use the original Resplendent armor but I can't do s#*! with this one. anyone know what I need to do?

I have no experience with Mod Organizer, sorry. I'm pretty much a novice where modding is concerned and all I'm doing at the moment is nifscope/blender/Gimp2 retexturing and remodeling. The retexture is a replacer for the "tarnished armor" if you craft the tarnished armor in the smithing menu, that's where the black and red is. It is not standalone. And as for the "special permissions" thing, not sure mate, permissions are usually too do with your computers own access privileges setup by your admin.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
