Whenever I try to tweak the physics setting so the skirt becomes heavier and doesn't fly around like a balloon(with hdtHavokModifier.exe), my game crashes. WOuld you have any tip on why or what I am doing wrong? Is there any way to tweak the skirt's physics for it not to fly around so much? BTW: AWESOME mod!! You rock!!

Great Job !!!!!!!! tho i was thinking and it's probably a big request but can you make the armor so it doesn't clip with the legs? it's kind of annoying but otherwise it's great work, keep it up!!!!!!!!

Awesome work! Thanks for taking the time and effort to bring this to us. Quick question, I have been using the Dettlaff outfit from the Devine Elegence mod and was wondering is there a universal plugin for HDT physics for armor or do you have to do it individual Nif file at a time using the Creation kit and body slide? I watched tutorial and it was above my paygrade.

      Thank you

And no, there isn't an universal HDT physics plugins, just the hdtphysicsextension.dll you install for mod with hdt physics to work.
And yes, you will have to do an individual nif file of the original nif but not in CK nor BodySlide, it is done in 3ds Max 2012 with various havok and nif plugins.

Bodyslide is more for body physics where armor takes shape of the body type.

I hope this cleared things up....

Damn, wish I could reinstall skyrim and play right away, how did you add the physics? Did you cut the skirt into different straps or does it react when the feet touch it? I wish there was some sort of a demo video on it.

I was halfway through making a tutorial with images on my old computer before it totally gave out on me,
      The HDD is completely dead

I have to start from scratch but I'm very busy with school lately.
I will try to finish a new tutorial and post it here soon but in the mean time you could search for " Dint999 " on youtube he has tutorials that can help and you can even ask him some questions so until when I can complete a tutorial that's all I can tell you for now.

And no, I just create rigid bodies in 3ds max and input the data (how much movement to use) and weighted the skirt to the newly created bones for the skirt, so when the bones moves so does the skirt and the rigid body creates the ragdoll like movement.

This video was made by Dint999: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Trlrt4N5KDA&t=283s

^^^^^^^^^^^ The most detailed tutorial on youtube, he doesn't talk because english isn't his native language but his video gets the job done.........Check it out

      I wish I could've assisted you more

Thanks on the update, really appreciate it, I have watched Dint's vids before as I wanted to create an hdt hairstyle for my game and I have tampered with 3ds max on my friend's computer but it was way too much for me and after a while I quit the project. The only reason I wanted to learn how hdt physics work, was to recreate a working version of the ursine armor in skyrim but without cutting the skirt to straps as it looked really horrible. I didn't have the patience to do it so I didn't even bother expecting someone else to do the dirty work. Kind of evil I know! I can't wait to test this armor out on my game. It's gonna be glorious!

I'm not sure, does you skyrim run above 60fps?
If yes then that may be it because physics tend to go crazy with framerates above 60

optionally if that doesn't work install the original then install mines again.
      I hope it helps mate
