Works exactly as advertised. A great boon to werewolves, vampires, and liches alike. How I managed to miss this little gem when I was installing portable holes, remote storage systems, and the all that, for years, is beyond me.
I know you said you are no longer developing or supporting this mod. But as it is one of my favorites and probably the most useful mod of any created, I was wondering if you were going to port this mod for Skyrim Special Edition? Here's hoping.
Very useful mod, ESPECIALLY if you use SkyTweak SkyTweak often likes resetting carryweight, even if you set it in console. Happens most frequently when using werewolf form. This mod works on the item level, meaning that the new 10k carryweight is not base value, and therefore can't be reverted by scripts. tl;dr nothing can take away this ring's effect
Thank you so much for this mod. In the past I have made my own, in game via the fort Restoration potion.
A note that may be helpful to others. When I first , manually, extracted this to the data folder it did not work. I found this to be because it made it' own data folder, inside the data folder. So I cut it from this (data) folder and pasted it into the data folder so that it's address , for me, is now : C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\TESV Skyrim LE\Data\Ring of Himalayan Hauling v1.0.esp
Then it showed up in the "data files" at start up. And the ring was painlessly in my characters inventory ( unequipped )
Good journey all
Edit: not sure why that smilie face is showing up in the address of the .esp ... it is trying to be a capital D.
I want to say that this mod is very VERY useful. You can disenchanted the ring and added it to another thing (clothes, Backpacks, Rings, Necklaces). Thanks alot for this mate, you rock. Endorsed
