Hey guys i'm going to keep this up for archive purposes but I have made a new and much more advanced Egypt mod which takes advantage of ALOT I learned in creation kit. This mod is my first attempt and extremely primitive compared to the new one. So please try my new mod instead of this one as i feel it is better in every way. It is linked in the description.

It's really good but without any life/npc's,creatures it's pretty useless wasted mod space incomplete, Someone really should continue this.

Marvelous. Loved every second of it.

As a first try at an Egyptian landscape mod, I think you did a very nice job. There are of course issues of FPS in some areas as mentioned before me (while still remaining a stable mod), and it lacks as many interiors as Amarna, but it is overall a very unique experience, even after Amarna, due to the differences in arquitecture.

I liked the variety in exterior design between the temples and pyramids inside the city gates, and the more simple houses outside the city gates. Makes it look more like a proper city at that time.

If anything, the only "issue" I had was food sometimes suddenly flying off tables and ending up buried into the ground. Too much food on tables.....

Another point was the sandstorms. While very atmospheric while outside the city gates (in the desert), they can obstruct visibility for extended periods of time (I waited for 8 hours inside a house and it simply wouldn't stop. Had to use a spell to control the weather and change it to Clear Weather for the storm to pass). The storms are a welcomed view in the Egyptian desert but seems like they last a little too long. Though I'm fairly sure this issue is derived from Skyrim's own reluctance to change weather unless you travel to another cell, so no biggie. A simple spell cast and they go away.

Also, I can't sit on the thrones for some reason, was it intended?

All in all, I endorse this mod for life. Gonna keep it along with Amarna, so I can travel between them through teleport beacons so I can skip going out into Riverwood and breaking immersion.

Thank you very much for all your hard work as well as all the people involved in this mod and Amarna. I'm very grateful that you shared your mods with us, allowing us such special experience as is the beauty of Ancient Egypt.

nice but a wee bit fps heavy, tops out at 20k draw calls at some areas.

yea I honestly wouldn't recommend using this mod anymore since it requires another large mod and I made it at a time when I didn't understand much about creation kit. (the optional rug retex is laughably unnecessary) I recommend you try my new Amarna mod instead. no requirements and a lot more detail and optimization. I'm not even able to work on this one anymore because I had to to a clean install and didn't want many mods so I no longer use its parent mod. But like I said, Amarna is much better. only leaving this up for people who have gray fox installed and want the option of using it for screens.

its not easy/impossible to find Egyptian themed stuff for skyrim. what you see there is like 6 mods that i have re textured and used together. uses stuff from the queen menace armor, newlenya armor, luxury clothing collection, trx halloween bikini, and chh heels. lol

Thanks. Im working on a much better version that doesn't require gray cowl and includes many new objects and architecture. I kind of built too much in this one and it has frame rate issues. The new version is based on Nefertiti's city Amarna and will be released in a few weeks.

Hey, I could get together some models and textures for more explicitly egyptian treasure. Things like scarabs and anubis statues that you could leave hidden around the place, worth about 500 - 2000 g. Would that sound good to you?

yea absolutely. Someone who is very skilled making models is working on parts so I can release a standalone and add anything I need. so yes that would be very helpful thanks.and those Anubis statues sound perfect. just what I need. Even if they are just static thats great too. I think ill do a new egypt map too. I have one im working on now and ive come up with much better building ideas. It looks alot better than this. I want to do luxor and amarna once I have my own meshs. I pmed you
