Thank you for this.I am downloading it immediately. Hopefully, it does NOT have physics like the Grandmaster one does. I loved that armor but just my luck the physics version was the only one that wasn't bugged. As much as I loved that armor I had to give it up because my machine does not like the physics much and I have no other use for it besides that armor. Trying this out immediately on my male follower. This looks great! MORE male armors please! And recolors. I would love a version of this that had a dark color like black or dark brown replacing the blue. Endorsed!!
Does your skyrim run above 60Fps? If so that might most likely be the reason why your machine Does not like the physics Havok's engine has an issue when processing physics while running over 60fps
No. I made sure of that first thing. It is running at 60.I don't actually know what caused my physics mess up but after tinkering and deleting the mod my game started working well again. Since I have no use for physics other then that particular armor it didn't seem worth it to mess with it. All it does in my game is make the tabard skirt of that armor flap.LOL. Really not worth the headache involved but I do wish he would fix the issues with the non hdt armor that everybody is having.
I am not married to the long skirt. A shorter one would probably work better with no extra programs to animate it. I mostly want it for my male follower anyway and issues arise with Hdt and followers.
I was in the middle of creating a _0 and dark recolor for this, and realized that the sleeves have some odd issue going on. They are VERY shiny in game. Any idea how to fix?
First thing I would try is opening up the torso1_n.dds, open up the channels and there should be Red, Blue, Green and an alpha channel. The sleeves are very bright, so I'd make them a lot darker. If that didn't work, you could try doing the same to the specular map, but it looks okay to me. The only other option would be to adjust the actual settings like shine and gloss on the mesh, in the BSLightingShader. But I'm not experienced enough with outfits to be able to give you values off the top of my head.
Cool outfit, by the way. I'm glad someone is finally working on the witcher gear.
Yea, I'm not very experienced with all that. I did make the white sleeves jet black, and it still didn't help. Looks metallic almost. Surprised no one else is having this issue though, perhaps they just haven't noticed it. I'll see what I can figure out. Thanks!
EDIT: An image of what it looks like. Recolor is just a quickie. I'm going to work on the resculpt then come back to this issue. http://imgur.com/BUX70az
I am, I'll just post a link here in the comment section, the uploader of this armor can add it to his file if he wishes.
EDIT: Shew... Getting Witcher armor to Skyrim shape is a pain. Here is a finished _0 version of this armor, and the dark recolor. This file comes with the recolor and the _0 (it will replace this armor with the thinner version). I am not sure if the original body here will work as the _1, I didn't try yet. I'm just a n00b doing this for personal use, feel free to do whatever you want with these.

EDIT 2: Sorry, not sure what happened to the link, but the files are no longer on my computer!
