I found this wonderful city / modder resource by chance.I am currently building a mod based on it, with interiors (Duplication helps, how many houses did you build?) and quests. I added lore-friendly quests, some ideas are from Morrowind (using the player guide book). In time I may release it (on Nexus/etc.), I usually make mods on Steam. I already added Navmesh to the outside village and the main docks areas. Some Navmesh didn't work (the gates areas won't let me add a single vertice on the ground). My current project is about 55 Megabytes total, expected to be about 400 MB with custom graphics and scripts. Thank you for your city. - M7, 2018. :)https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1409494603

The most beautiful and impressive city made for Skyrim!
Would love to see plenty of citizens in it. Keeping an eye on it since years.

A hint for interiors cells: make five to ten adjacent houses per interior cell, it will allow secret passage between houses and the pleasure to hear the neighbor's noise. It allow to clutter interiors faster, too.

    Cheers

Anyone wishes to make the most of this resource should try to consult lore about the famous City-State of the Invincible Overlord.

Do the buildings have interiors? I'm new to modding myself And I cannot navmesh it never works right but if someone is willing to do the navmesh I would happily try and take this on and attempt to make something great also had a few ideas on how to introduce the player to the City aswell as other things. Would also love to collaborate on a project like this if anyone is interested feel free to message me.

Hello, this is huge and awesome.

I'm a noob modder. I was just looking around in Modder Ressources if i could find a new location already done to try to work on my first quest mod.
And that's how i found this.
It's really impressive, i don't understand why hasn't anyone used this yet for a huge Quest Campaign or just a new town.

How long did it take to do all this?

It's the biggest town i ever seen.

By the way, the exemples you typed in your description didn't work for me to go there at first.
So i typed in console "help OMF".
An there i had the names of the cells and then i could "coc".

I love the fact that finally you can jump from some roofs to another (well on some you just can't climb anymore, so you have to go down).
And while falling from a roof i felt in a giant barrel and couldn't get out of it anymore. So i had to use "coc" ^^

And all this kind of China great wall surrounding all the town, it's awesome, i was just running all the way through and it was never ending.

    Really impressive work!

Nice to see people like it. it took a few months of work (of course I didnt work on it every day, and not even every week. I guess its about 50 hours of work.
      Good luck with your mod.
btw, if you are using the console to get out of places you stuck in, you can just use "tcl" and then you can move in any direction, even through wals.

Thanks for the info, i didn't knew about the "tcl" command.
I try to avoid console commands as much as i can if possible though.

I think you should make a topic in the forums to promote your city mod if you really want it to be used by experienced modders to make a good thing with it.

Cause i really think you've done a huge job there and it would awesome to see it extended with NPCs, quests etc.

Myself i was already thinking about maybe put some musicians in the market, merchants, children, beggars etc and some atmosphere.
But as i'm not an experienced modder, the result won't be impressive ^^

Are you still working on this mod or an other island/city as you mentionned in your description?

I'm working on another island with a city right now, it will take some time until I will upload it. I may revisit this map though, to fix some problems or add things that come to my mind, but its not my main project now.

Mate, this is just perfect! It's like you read my mind! If I may share my wishlist though, I'd like it if there were ways to traverse on the rooftops, openable windows that lead to the inside of the houses, 2-3 big (and I mean really big) manors. That's just me being an entitled b&@*$, though. I really love what I see in these pictures. Finally, I'd like to suggest Thief: The Dark Project and Thief 2: The Metal Age, the go-to games for good thieving and stealth. They can be a source of inspiration, since their level design is legendary, and very good games to play. Either way, thank you very much!
I look forward to the day someone notices this and makes a good quest mod with it!

      First, thanks.
The Thief games are actually part of the inspiration, and I hope someone someone will take this city and make it thieves-heaven.
About getting into windows, I'm not sure I'm going to do it, for two reasons: a) I'm working only with the vanilla models to make it easier to edit for whoever want to take it and make it a real mod, and b) because it requires building interiors, which I'm not good at and don't really like it. If there will ever be interiors, I will start with the big ones- the castle, the palace, etc.
