Okay, I'm gonna ask a similar question to the one I made on Zaronios' New and Enhanced mod since I'm running into a very similar problem. With their mod, weapons and armor had no color at all, regardless of what options I chose. With this mod, I can see a very VERY slight difference in color but even when I go somewhere dark there's only a faint hint of a color, nothing like the intense glowing colors shown in the pictures. I can't pin down what would be causing this problem and I'm hoping you might have an idea. Please help!
Edit: Also with your mod and theirs, when I drop any daedric gear, it just disappears. This doesn't happen with enchanted stuff though, for some reason.
Ok, I've been trying to track down the cause of this for about 6 hours now and I'm totally baffled.
Every time I try to equip the cuirass, I get a CTD. This happens on male and female characters. This happens with all colors and only with the cuirass. I had 3 other mods installed when I ran into this problem (Immersive Armors, Immersive Weapons, and the Unofficial Patch. In my testing, I removed all other armors, verified all game files, loaded a completely vanilla save game, and uninstalled all other mods excluding this one. The results were the same regardless of what I tried. I even tried to download the previous version with the exact same results.
If anyone has any insight as to what on earth is going on here, I'd greatly appreciate it.
This is a bug that happened in the SSE version, and is likely the same cause as that crash. I will issue a fix, stand by. Also thank you for reporting this or I would not have known <3
Thank you very much! I was considering using the other mod that offers the individual standalones and merging them, but they don't use the weapons and I really wasn't looking forward to that much work anyway (let's face it, getting a stable, modded game is enough work as it is!). I really appreciate you taking the time to fix it!
No wonder I couldn't find the problem. I know jack about nifscope, lol. Thanks again. I've reloaded the file and tested all the armor and weapon pieces (and ammo) so I can definitively say the mod is now at 100%
'her' file kryptopyr is a woman. Also thank you very much for this, they look really cool, I wonder since I see you have authored the vanilla's daedric armor bodyslide if you would ever release a bodyslider file for the female armors of these sets too?
oh crap, I thought that link was credits or recommended, I opened them all in haste. Thanks! Question about the glow colors, is this a complicated process to do, like if I, a basic modder who doesn't know much about modelling, could apply the different glow in other daedric meshes, and yes I'm talking about the skimpy armors for both genders!
