I'm honestly surprised I haven't seen other mods that attempt the same thing. I mean: what is the point of role-playing as a thief when there's nothing to steal from anyone's homes?!

Edit: I advise using both the 'scarcity' and 'skydie' mods in conjunction with with this one. The former decreases the overall amount of treasure you find (depending on which ESP you choose), and the latter greatly increases the pricing on everything you buy.

Is there a version where jewelries aren't included in the price hike? The jewelry prices aren't very balanced especially when you intend to buy enchanted jewelry at those prices.

Nevermind. I could just use the last version.

*Never mind.* After commenting, I figured that the older version of this mod did the same thing but without inflating the price of gems/jewelry. Just wanted to mention that in case anyone else was looking for the same thing as me.

Simple and effective mod. Thanks Whiteshadow.

Bash users, looks like you'll need to move this plugin below the bashed patch in the load order or the edits from this mod get overridden by edits from the unofficial patch.

Just downloaded this mod not tried it yet I so hope it works well if it does I will be back to endorse. Its always annoyed me that when making a play through as a thief that break an enter just isn't worth the bother even the rich people ( maven ) don't have anything worth half inching. If this mod changes that so that a character can make a living from solely being a thief then I say thank you whiteshadow thank you very much.

A feature that'd be nice to see would be making things like nicer kitchenware (such as plates and bowls, especially silver and Dwemer ones) worth more. That would make some of Jaree-Ra's dialog about petty thievery make more sense, and make going into a Dwemer ruin even more attractive to treasure hunters.

Nice mod, but I won't be using because it's not that immersive for me. Civilians living in crappy houses having so much gold and noble clothes in their homes, while they wear rags is sort of game breaking for me.
IF you can make modification/separated version to make the rich npc's home have more rewards worth stealing (gold, clothes, gems) I will consider it.

PS. for a thiev after you complete the stones of barenziah questline, you find gems in basicly everything, so it's rewarding enough
PPS I guess I posted here because the mod just caught my interest

If you use an economy overhaul, things change though. I use Immersive Jewelry and others, stuff is expensive! (but realisticly so) A well done sword easily costs 6000 septims now. A house? 5 times that at least.

Is there a way you can integrate?
Because a dude's load order list limit is his life's blood...!
    Instead of downloading two mods.
You do have to admit, Tekla having over 800 gold is kinda awkward and breaking, if she's just a milk maid... XD

The simplest way would be to use SkyTweak. You can make vendors sell stuff for a lot more than now. The problem is that will make food prices skyrocket as well.

Otherwise I cant think of a simpler way (other than suggesting Immersive Jewelry and dependencies)

Trade routes or trade and barter? iirc they both have economy sliders.

      Sigh...
You don't want to do it for me in your More Rewarding Thieving mod? I don't want to download many more mods but one.
