      So that you can find out if you have any ugly vanilla textures that aren't being replaced. Then you can go replace them.

    It would have been nice if there are other color variants since the purple color doesn't give much assurance whether the object was unmodded or it just simply has no textures available.

      No. But you can just move the texture.bsa out of the folder.

    Straight out from modder's nightmares! What a great idea. As pointed out this is actually very useful to detect vintage textures in my game.

      Useful for both modders and mod users in the texteruing field as modders can see what texture they didn't cover and users can see what textures they need to cover.
