This mod transforms Apocrypha into the Sunken City of R'lyeh. It replaces the piles of rotting paper with cyclopean masonry akin to Lovecraft's "Call of Cthulhu" and "At the Mountains of Madness".
The mod is not a texture replacer. Almost all of the "rotting paper" meshes have been replaced with custom made vertex shaded meshes heavily modified from some of the vanilla meshes. Each mesh has a custom collision. There are custom buildings and towers, and the piles of garbage have become the dark and narrow streets and alleys of an ancient metropolis.
The new meshes are very detailed, with crevasses for each large stone, etc, but the funny thing is they are actually smaller in size than the vanilla "rotting paper" meshes because of those book models. So, if your system could handle the original Apocrypha, it should be able to handle this mod with no problem.

CAVEAT:
=======
As always, there are only about a zillion PC configurations out there. So, I'm never going to guarantee that this mod won't destroy your computer, burn down your house, eat your dog, or cause some other calamity. I will say that the mod does work fine on my horribly under powered POS which is still running air gapped 32 bit Windows XP. I also run the HighResTexturePacks, as well as all of the Unofficial Patches. But that's it for mods. I imagine that it will cause a conflict with any mod that alters Apocrypha and its environs.
