    Thank you for this Duomaxwell
Such a simple light weight mod, that allows me to see my followers health, ..
Who needs clutter on the screens with bars n faces, cluttering up the gamer screens,  ( sure as heck not me ) when all you need is just to look n heal if need be Big Yay !!!
Lastly I'd like to say works right out the box in sse,  downloaded manually to desktop and used mo2's add mod " IT JUST WORKS " !!!   xD
    Thank you Endorsed Tracking Kudo'd

just to get the dumb questions out of the way, do you have the latest skse and skyui?

      has the mcm menu appeared?
      if not:
      1. open the console
      2. type the following without the quotes "setstage ski_configmanagerinstance 1"
      3. close the console
      4. wait a a few seconds for the game to recognize all the mcm menus
      5. configure away.

I've been having the same problem. I took a closer look at the mod and noticed: there's no script files in the download. At the very least, there should be a script file to run the MCM menu. Both downloads (1.0 and 1.1) only include the .esp file, though.

try this and let me know if it works
      1. uninstall this mod
      2. open skyrim (this should let the game know the mod is gone.)
      3. save the game.
      4. exit skyrim
      5. reinstall the mod
      6. open skyrim again
      7. wait for the mcm menu to be recognized
      8. it should work again.
      9. if this doesn't work repeat the steps except uninstall and delete the mod then re-download it again for step 5

Nothing's going to work without a new, more complete download file being uploaded. The downloads available now don't include the script file needed to display the MCM, so the MCM is never going to register using those.

everything needed to run the mcm menu is included in this mod. please try the fixes I have suggested, otherwise I cannot help you.

      Hi duomaxwell2,

Can you please verify and possibly re-upload your zip file(s)?

Really, they are only containing a single .esp file. The referenced script "FollowerHealth.pex" is not included in the zip archive.
I know sometimes files get corrupted on the Nexus during their update or upload. Maybe this is what happened.

PS: Very valid mod idea, minimalism is the key to a healthy and stable Skyrim.

Just keep playing and the MCM menu will eventually show up. I had the same issue. I could see follower's hp, but no MCM menu. I uninstalled, re-installed and even use console command like the author said, but still no MCM menu. I kept playing nonetheless thinking its fine not having MCM menu as long as I can see HP. After few hours of playing, it suddenly showed up in MCM menu. Maybe it just take a long time for MCM menu to register this mod.

Can Confirm, a quick save in the SSE CK and it seems to work just fine in Skyrim Special Edition.

I join this request ( ethervagabond ), I really love the UI that has EFF to see the life / magika / stamina of the followers, but I do not want all the other changes, would it be possible to have something similar? or even, do it separately please? I know that this feature comes from "UIExtensions" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57046, which is a resource, is there a way that you can integrate it at least optionally? From already thank you very much! I also stay with this option for the moment!

I looked into the UIExtensions and it's close, but not quite what I'm looking for. When looking at the scripts, I don't have any control over the meters for health, stamina, and magika. This is one of those things that I'm going to have to build myself. The problem with building it myself is that it requires flash (a specific version of flash because of how old skyrim is) and I don't have the money to buy the tools necessary to complete the mod. If or when money and time become available I will finish the mod.

Thank you for this mod! There's other mods like Floating Healthbars and EFF that do this, but they come with a bunch of extra crap that I don't want or need. It would be nice if it would show a health bar in the corner of the screen for any follower you have following you, but I'll take this over the others any day. Floating Healthbars made my game crash on start up anyway. Thanks again!
