This is a cool idea, and I don't mean to run you down or anything, but if you get skse through steam you can launch it from steam taking you to an skse enabled skyrim vanilla launcher. Skse runs fine. What would be cool is if a person could customise the look of the launcher.
DO NOT use the steam Skse with a modded game, especially if you have an enb, when you start skse via steam it starts the normal skyrim launcher with it and that causes the enb to crash rapidly with no ending till the pc shuts down. If it works for you from steam I'm happy for you, but for me and many other people it justs screws everything up
@Glutzahn Try downloading the SKSE patch 1.2 and then link the SKSE launcher to your steam. You wont have any problems so long as your load order isnt buggered up ( which would be completely your own fault).
It works . After start the launcher and clicking to launch game settings , a window of the original Gamelauncher comes over the SkseLauncher . Thats ok . After start with this launcher the game freeze 5 sec . , i think its ok , 200 Mods must load ) This mod is not finishd , about it is a nice idea . I give him a testingtime . Thanks
What exactly does this do? SKSE already launches the game. You should use the description page to give more details of what this does and why I need it.
My guess is that this is a player-made launcher that is a 'merge of the vanilla and skse' exe.
The original SKSE exe opens a console/terminal window before linking back to the vanilla launcher. While the vanilla launcher opens normally without SKSE functionality.
Gonna have to test this myself. Anyone else used this yet?
Just tried it out. Seems to work alright, as far as launching the game goes. Going to the Game Settings option gives me an Application Load Error, though. Don't know what that's all about.
Also, for the mod author:
Really like the idea and the background image for the launcher. Gonna be nitpicky with some aesthetic things, though, but they're not a big deal: could a different font be applied? I'm thinking something like the one from this mod (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/479/?) or from Sovengarde Font replacer (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77036/?). And a little highlight over what option your cursor is on might be neat, too. Love that you added a sound effect to that. Nice touch.
Anyhow, just some things I thought I'd point out that would, in my opinion, make it look a little nicer. Cool mod.

There is no need to worry, just ignore that.

Maybe you missed this executable in your game directory?
Any font can.
