From what I understand, each follower has a set of invisible armor they will equip unless they are given something better. Since this mod is simply clothes, they will not override the preset. This is, unfortunately, an issue I cannot correct.
So, you have two options. 1. open the console, target your companion. write removeallitems and press enter. Now the follower will have a completely empty inventory and you can equip them whatever you want. Be warned that the follower will lose their infinite ammo as well and you will need to reguarly give them more arrows/bolts. 2. Use a mod, such as http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23798/? - but I don't know how that handles the ammo.
Clothes look great, but the characters in screen shots have grey heads and there are gaps between arms and wrists in other screen shots. Will follow and hope these issues are fixed before I try to install. I only do manual installs, so I will wait for fixes. Nice idea for a mod.
The grey face bug should be fixed as I have updated all npc's in the CK... please let me know if I have missed someone! I am going to look into why there is a wristgap over the weekend.
You have grey-face bug here. After you've created/edited a face in the CreationKit, you need to generate facegen data, or else your characters will have a blackface and a visible neckseam . Use CLTR+F4 on all the npcs you've made changes to.
