This mod needs Campfire Survival for work. You can turn on a fire around skyrim with Campfire Survival, not with this mod. Campfire Addendum work only with the campfire already present around skyrim. You do not need to turn them on, as they are already turned on by the NPC using them.
Ok, i understood. No, you cannot start a fire from turned off campfire around skyrim. This mod work only for turned on campfire. But wait, if a campfire is turned off, why you want to turn THAT campfire on? You can build one. You need the same wood for turning on. But i want to try to do it, maybe i can improve my mod by doing this.
Would be awesome. Frostfall 2.6 could do it. Sneak Tools does it fully when used with campfire and frostfall. Dynamic fires does it from apperance but it will not warm you.
Ok lol I'm confused, what does this mod do, exactly? And If anyone can help me out.. I'm looking for a mod that makes vanilla campfires go out after a while (Like the Campfire mod) or something of the like? Thanks peoples
I will implement this mod into MyVisionOfSkyrim Mod, in fact, this mod is a little part of that work. I do not change anything, only about this mod. In the next mod, i will implement an activation for the turned off campfire around Skyrim.
If I understand correctly, this mod makes it so that campfires that are already lit in the world behave as if they were lit by you, giving off heat. Is that correct? Does it do anything else, like access the perk tree?
AFAIK you already get heat from fire sources around Skyrim. This mod should enable the "Use Campfire" menu where you can access the skill tree and cook basic recipes. I'll track this mod for a while and almost surely add it to my current playthrough.
You dont get heat from other fire sources by default? I'm pretty sure my char was getting warmer (even played the warm hand animation) standing by a campfire near Windhelm. Well I guess it makes sense to be able to access the skill tree only from handmade campfires.
On the latest versions of Frostfall your character doesn't ger warmer when standing near pre-built campfires. It may play the hand-warming animation (I really don't remember), but It doesn't gain heat.
On second thought, I could be mistaken. I think this was addressed on later versions. What hasn't been addressed yet is the ability to light campfires that are already set, but not lit.
