Solving the dark face bug: 1- Make sure no other mod is modifying Fjola's appearance. 2- Open the plugin with the Creation kit, select Fjola, and then Ctrl+F4 to export her face. For this to work correctly, temporarily disable whatever high resolution make-up mod you use; if there are loose files in the folder Data\textures\actors\character\character assets\tintmask , rename the folder tintmask before opening the CK, and rename it back to 'tintmask' after finish.
Solving the spawning naked bug: 1- Open the plugin with xedit/tes5edit, scroll down Fjola's sheet for the 'Default Outfit' entry. Change it from
BanditArmorHeavyBossNoShieldOutfit [OTFT:000A95F8] to ArmorSteelPlateNoHelmetOutfit [OTFT:000579A3]
Apparently, changing Fjola from random dungeon boss to unique follower somehow keeps the game from correctly assigning her default armor. Changing it to an entry that standard followers use solved it for me.
There are tutorials on the internet about how to do these things, in case of doubts. Google 'skyrim export facegen', or 'skyrim change standard outfit'.
It doesn't work for me. I applied the mod before meeting her but with the quest ongoing. The "bug" of the armor appear (she's naked) so the mod is loaded. But then I finish the quest and she haven't any dialogue left.
I have not attempted that, but I believe if she is still alive and you download this, she will be recruit able. Test it out and let me know how it goes.
First of all, thank you for making this, my first reaction after the quest was that I wanted to have her as a follower and I was surprised she never turns up again as a random encounter. Secondly, WOW, I can't believe it took until less than a month ago for someone to mod her into a follower after the game being out for almost six years.
I know right. I forgot about her for a long time and re-discovered her and wanted to have her as a follower. I just assumed someone did that, like with Anska, but didn't find anything. So I made my own.
same here, although I generally use Mind control to force her to follow, but I like the name change. It would be good to expand her quest a bit, since you decimated her band of bandits to get to her, perhaps you can do something for her to become a follower?
That's a good future plan idea, maybe I can add a few lines of dialogue after the quest that convinces her to join you. It'd be non-voice acted however.
