However, like others before me, I didn't see an ESP at all, either here on the site in the file explorer, or on my end in Mod Organizer. I decided that I wanted to use this, though, so I went ahead and made an ESP based on the Imperial version.
Download here. Originally I wasn't going to release this, but what the hell, why not?
I've changed all model paths in the Imperial version's ESP to point to the resources from the version on this page. After that, for my own personal use, I made a version that's on par with steel shields for the early-game. Other than that, I didn't do much else. I've tested it in-game, and it works just fine.
looked harder, still no esp. I've downloaded both manually and with MO and all I got were Meshes and Textures folders. No esp, only 3 files : the model and its textures.
At first: your shield really looks great. Especially considering this is your first mod.
But there are some issues with this mod. 1. The downloaded file contains both the loose files and a .bsa container file that exactly contains the same files as the loose files. This is totally unnecessary and also makes no sense. 2. The .esp has two unnecessary duplicates (SonsBootsAA & RecipeArmorIronShieldDUPLICATE001). 3. The shield has after all I've learned a wrong record in the CK. "AlternateBlockMaterial" has to be "MaterialShieldHeavy" according to the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. 4. There's no recipe for tempering the shield (although this isn't really necessary for this overpowered shield ;-)
But as said it's a wonderful mod and thank you very much for your work.
i'll be looking into fixing these issues when i am ready with the Black iron armor, (i don't have skyrim installed on my current setup- still, thanks for the explanation of the numerous issues with the mod
