thank you for this, always bothered me how the default draw sound didnt affect stealth considering how loud it is, this mod also improves the difficulty since you cant hear someone draw their sword from half a mile away.
This is an excellent idea, thanks for giving us this. I could be misjudging it, but your greatsword drawing and sheathing sounds sound like they might be muffing/overpowering the microphone a bit.
I checked to make sure the sounds worked, have you tried turning your volume up? I would do a YouTube video, but unfortunately my computer has a hard enough time playing Skyrim and cannot record it, although perhaps I could just drop the audio files into a video without recording Skyrim.
Agreed. I'd also like a louder option. Also a two-handed option? That, I assume, would be louder to the user in reality as the noise is directly next to the ear rather from hip height.

It seems subtle because you're used to the Hollywood-style loud "SCHIIING". Real scabbards usually have leather or cloth covering, metal-on-metal is almost never done because of how loud it is and because it blunts the blade. If you've ever heard a sword pulled from an authentic scabbard, you'd marvel at how quiet it is. The volume's actually entirely fine.
