Thank you for this. It's about time someone made a texture mod that actually changes the design of an area. While I've seen other mods that slightly tweak the types of brick for pavement for example, it's very rare to have a mod that alters the style itself. More experimentation is a great thing.
The streets look nothing like what is featured in the preview images. I have chunk grey rock with a repeating pattern all around the city. The Temple of Dibella remains completely vanilla. In fact, the only prominent changes I notice is the green grass (which is a refreshing change). I have no mods that should be interfering whatsoever.
Just a questions. Does this, by any chance, ever cause any civil-war-questline-related glitches? This is the only Whiterun-altering mod I have, and I came across this apparently-unheard-of bug...
Also, I'm seeing this one rooftop with 1.4 that refuses to change to either blue or yellow when I have either of said add-ons.
I really like this one! It's kinda like 'Sexy Whiterun,' but a lot more subtle. Very good work, and thank you for sharing it!
I have noticed something, and I'm unsure if it's this mod or if there is a mod conflict happening somewhere; on the stone walls inside Dragonsreach on the second story, in the hall of the dead, and especially in the Jorrvasker living quarters, there is a green rainbow-ish effect on the walls. I can't for the life of me think of any mod this might be conflicting with (I have Dawn of Whiterun), so I'm wondering if anybody else is having this problem? Thanks.
As long as I don't go to those areas everything looks great though!
To the three mod authors of Alternatives - Whiterun & Solitude - ZayLa, No stretching - langley, and Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM - Brumbek.
I have no idea who gets the shares in the credit for this massive visual improvement not only in Solitude & Whiterun, but all round Skyrim, hence you're all getting this post, and endorsement all round.
I'm not into ENBs and visual enhancements, preferring quests and beautiful companions, so this was a total revelation. The improvement in Proudspire Monor - interior - was so dramatic I almost checked the tables for the bill the interior design team must have left!.
Thanks to you all; I'd just about run out of things to do, so even if I'm a bit bored in the next few hundred hours, at least I can get the place looking even better.

I'm just wondering if this here is intentional, since it happens every single time.
