You seem to have a lot of shine to the sword. Im not sure if that is intentional. If not, Ive often seen that problem blamed on "normal mapping", and experienced it when the ("X"_n) texture doesnt work quite right. Sorry I cant help you fix it, I still cant make a submission-worthy weapon or armor mod. But Thats the only thing I noticed. Looking forward to the final release.
Oh, and you might want to add some daylight action pics, to better show off your work.
More specifically, it has to do with the alpha channel in the normal map, or possibly the environment map (file that ends with _m) To make it less shiny, one simply has to make the alpha channel darker.
I think I have a fair deal of knowledge about Blender, Nifskope and textures now, at least enough to make working models for Skyrim. I'd be delighted to give any help I can to an aspiring mod author, so Ajanti (or anyone else for that matter) if there's anything you want to know feel free to ask me about it.
Thank you both for the advice! Yeah the lighting on it isn't quite right. The program I use to make my textures is GIMP. I'm gonna be trying out Mudbox to see if everything will look better.
dpgilliam: I'm still not great at taking screenshots but I will definitely do that! I'm glad you're looking forward to the final release!
sarcasticshark: I'm glad to find someone else who uses Blender. I will be sure to take you up on that offer!
This is quite inspiring... I myself have some experience using graphics programs for texturing, but not modeling... I have been wary of getting into it, as it seems like ALOT of work, and I'm too busy to do that right now. But I applaud you for your endeavors.

Ajanti, if you want easy, there's a mod on nhere that was actually created as a studio box for taking pix. Remind me and I'll track it down.
I'm also working on my first mod so good luck !!!
