Is it possible to update this mod (MFG Console version) with text scaling support like the unmodded game? The vanilla console text size can be changed via Skyrim.ini but it doesn't work with the mod installed. At 4K resolution, the normal game interface is fine because it all scales correctly but the console is tiny and hard to read at certain distances, and will become impossible to read at 8K resolution in the future (I already tested at 8K with DSR).
There is a main file and an optional file, suggesting that i should download both and the optional is a patch, but the description on the optional sounds like it is an alternate main file / standalone for use with MFG.
If i am using MFG and Better console, Do i download Both or just the optional file?
Thanks
"Hey you, cant you read, it says optional, figure it out sherlock" you might be about to type, I see many mod authors on nexus have main/standalone alternate files listed as optionals, either they uploaded the mod before nexus file organising was a thing or they cant/wont use it. It's common to have to guess by context.
Yes, it's been a long time since this was uploaded. But this situation is also a bit odd.
Yes, the optional file is a patch, but it's also the only file you technically need if you are using MFG as long as you don't want to customize anything.
The optional download version has the alternate console file you need to play the game, but it doesn't include the sample configuration file you will want to do any customization of the mod's options.
The main download has the example configuration file, a console file that is meant to work without MFG, and and also the MFG-based console file (but it's named wrong so you either have to manually rename and install it or use the optional download as a patch to get them MFG version if you're using a download manager).
Passing though, is actually looking for the opposite - I want the console to be smaller / thinner / smaller font. I remember there is such a mod but can't for live find it again...
Please help me.... I've installed this mod, but now when i want to open the console command my skyrim crash to desktop. And when i tried to uninstall this mod, i can open the console command but i can write anything in the console command. My skyrim run well before, it happens after i install this mod and try to uninstall it because the CTD Please help me, because it's too bad to play skyrim without the console command. Sorry fo my bad english.
Ok. So I installed better console and then renamed the example cfg file. I then went to the console which was full screen like better console makes it and the typed firewood 22. The console said Script command "firewood" not found. What am I doing wrong?
I have a request: I'd like a way to see the form ID of the current cell I'm in. Extended UI apparently does this, but it isn't compatible with this mod, and between the two, this one is just too much more useful. Still, it makes it a bit harder to get cell IDs for the coc command.
