This mod is not longer supported. New versions will only be pushed to the Skyrim SE variant since there is little to no reason to play the 32-bit version anymore.
-- Some troubleshooting -- Known issue: Problems with the MCM not starting Probable cause: Bashed patch including the wearable lanterns patch Solution: Don't merge the wearable lanterns patch using Wrye Bash
However, if anyone is up to it, feel free to manage this mod on your own. Just create a new mod here on the nexus and add changes from the latest SE version, make improvements, etc -- do whatever you want i don't care.
This is what happens when people don't use their head. They don't think. There is people who have computers that barely play Skyrim SE, there are people that belive there is no reason to upgrade to SE, there are people that think there is no reason to pay again for a game they've already purchased and more other reasons that only belong to every individual.
I am 100% in agreement with the sentiment that there is no good reason to pay again for a game I've already paid for, but to be fair, my Steam copy of Oldrim gave me the free upgrade to the Special Edition. I don't care about the CC content added by the paid Anniversary Upgrade DLC, but the latest SE version incorporates all the same code stability improvements over Oldrim for massive modlists, and I didn't have to pay a dime extra for it.
for gods sake do not leave skyrim le yet man there are plenty mods that are only still in 32bit and also this mod seems to not be compatible with everlight
Not to mention the specular bug in SE that has never been patched or addressed. Arguably makes LE far more impressive visually to people with a keen eye.
My GTX1080 doesn't seem to care it's 32 bit, 60fps with high Rudy ENB settings and over 100 mods, mostly graphics related.
Is there anyway to make this compatible with Charmers of the Reach? Ever since I installed that mod I can't get this to work. I try and click enable mod in the MCM but it just doesn't do anything. Sucks cuz I really like how immersive this mod is. I don't understand why it wouldn't be compatible with it.
Is there any .INI edit needed for this mod to work properly? On the debug page, it says: MOD STATUS - Shadows - NOT ALLOWED. I have no idea how to change this. Does anyone have any clues?
i downloaded the main file sorted and the patch for the smoking candles and torches and sort with loot. I thought it was caused by too many graphic mods however even on a alternative profile same purple smoke. I redownloaded a few times already its always the same.

I fixed it by re downloading both TCS and the Smoking Torches Patch. Scratch that it came back the blue smoke returns the moment the mod activates.
