      No, it doesn't. You can use the power at any point of the game if you want to.

      No, it doesn't conflict. They will treat you as non-werewolf though and you'll have to "transform" as usual, because there is no other way to become werewolf in the vanilla game, so it assumes you aren't one.

    Maybe change it to an ancient curse? It seems a bit odd with "You hear the call of ancient curse" to me it seems like it should be an "an" before "ancient curse".
