Having an issue with the sos version, when installed the textures work on the inventory preview object but not on the character, any idea how to fix it?

I'm having the same problem using the SOS high poly body. All of the underwear have the same texture. The texture they do have seems to work fine (it's the charcoal black color texture), no missing textures or anything. Just all of the underwear show a different texture in my inventory, but when I equip them they are all the same.
I'm also using the standalone version and overwriting with SOS version in MO2.

Managed to fix my first issue with a reinstall as most of my textures had disappeared, but I'm now having the same issue as ShibePatrol.

Can you explain the process for converting it to SoS?

@glide9090: I was able to make an SoS version from scratch as follows (these instructions should work for most cases where you want to adapt an outfit to the SoS body, or any other body, for that matter):

      • Install SoS and El Men's Underwear.
      • Install BodySlide and Outfit Studio.
      • Launch BodySlide (through Mod Organizer, if you use it).
      • Click the "Outfit Studio" button in the bottom right of the UI.
      • A new window will open up. Minimize the BodySlide window (you don't need to use it at all), and (optionally) maximize the Outfit Studio window.
      • File -> Load Reference...
      • Click the "Browse" button and navigate to data\meshes\actors\character\character assets\bodymale_0.nif (under your Skyrim installation folder, wherever that is).
      • Click OK. You should see a naked male body with an empty space where the genitals should be. If you see anything else, you didn't install SoS correctly, or (possibly) you need to unpack a BSA file.
      • File -> Load Outfit...
      • Click "Browse" and navigate to data\meshes\clothes\ElMensUnderwear\underwear_0.nif
      • In the box at the top right, you should see three shapes listed under "New Outfit" (if you only see "New Outfit," click the plus sign to its left to expand the list). One is the underwear, one is the vanilla male body, and one (in green and boldfaced) is the SoS male body. You should be able to guess which is which based on their names. Right click the vanilla male body and delete it. If you accidentally deleted the wrong thing, go back to step 9 and try again.
      • Rotate the view (by right clicking and dragging on any empty space) so that you have a clear view of the waistband and how it relates to the SoS body.
      • Right click the underwear shape (in the shape list, like before) and choose "Scale." Uncheck "Uniform (XYZ)" and move the X and Y sliders around until the waistband and leg holes are in roughly the right places. It's OK if it's not a perfect fit, or if the rest of the body is clipping like mad (in particular, the buttocks will often clip really badly), we're going to fix that next. You should only need to touch the Z slider if you're trying to adapt to a body which is of a different height or overall size, which is rarely necessary as Skyrim already has built-in support for scaling the height of characters.
      • Make sure the underwear shape is selected (click it in the shape list), then select the Inflate tool (looks like a circle with a smaller circle growing out of it, tooltip says "Increase mesh volume in an area"). Anywhere that the underwear is too small and clips through the skin, click and drag. You will also want to click and drag over neighboring areas to make sure you don't end up with a mesh that looks too weird. Periodically rotate the view around and make sure it still looks reasonable.
      • Select the Deflate tool (to the immediate right of the Inflate tool) and click and drag over any part of the mesh where there's a visible gap between the mesh and the body. Again, you will also want to deflate neighboring areas to keep it from looking too weird. If you deflate or inflate something by too much, hit Ctrl+Z to undo, or switch to the other tool and fix it.
      • Optionally, you can use the Smooth tool (icon looks like a circle with a white outline over part of it, tooltip says "Smooth an area of a mesh") to smooth out any small-scale weirdness caused by inflating and deflating the mesh.
      • Rotate the view around one final time to make sure it looks good from all angles.
      • File -> Export -> To NIF With Reference... and save as data\meshes\clothes\ElMensUnderwear\underwear_0.nif
      • Go back to step 7 and do it all again. This time, use bodymale_1.nif and underwear_1.nif.
      • Fire up Skyrim, and see how it looks. Be sure to test it in multiple body positions, such as sneaking, sprinting, and swimming. If you want to make further edits, you can skip the "load reference" step and just load the outfit directly.
      • If the underwear looks fine on characters with minimum or maximum weight, but bugs out or crashes on other characters, then your shapes are (probably) ordered inconsistently between the underwear_0.nif and underwear_1.nif files. You can fix this in NifSkope with Block->Move Up/Down.
      • If you want it to be slot 52 instead of slot 32, that's not too difficult, and can be done in NifSkope and xEdit (basically, remove the SoS body mesh, change the underwear mesh to slot 52 in its BSDismemberSkinInstance node, and edit the ESP to put the Armor and ArmorAddon records as slot 52). Just make sure you remember to do this for both underwear_0.nif and underwear_1.nif.

I'm using this with SSE and while it fits my character fine. The genitals are clipping through as if the clothing isn't blocking them. Is there a way to fix this?

Edit: I fixed my issue with the instructions here to change the underwear to a different slot:

      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/articles/523

Then I used the instructions in the comment above to make everything fit with inflate/deflate etc.

Awesome mod! But I have to report a bug unfortunately :/ I cannot use the layered version. Is someone having the same problem? Anyone knows how to fix this?

Is there an SSE version for this? Thanks.

    UPDATE:

I actually tried it in my current SSE game and it works fine. This is wonderful!

Thank you for making this. I use it along with @RX310 's retexture as a replacer. I like the more realistic look of Better Males but don't care for the nudity and the SE version no longer supports replacers. You both have my thanks and my endorsement.

This works fine on SSE. The only thing I did was open and save in SSE Creation Kit to convert the esp to form 44.

The layering option is not compatible with SOS body, unfortunately. Would love to see this as an option since many people who use this mod likely also use SOS.

      Thanks for your request.
I mentioned it by another post reply, there are many requests, so I plan to deal with it, but now I can not do so because private is busy.
And, to be honest, the priority is fairly low.
If you ask me for prompt action, it is faster for you to modify it yourself.

This seems to work well with SkySight Skins on SSE. Great male counterpart to the CBBE female underwear.

      Thank you for your report.
Hmm, does that mean that there is a MOD called "CBBE female underwear"?
I do not know about it, but many underwear for women is a contemporary design, so I think that there is something corresponding to my MOD.

The underwear comes with "Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Enhancer -CBBE-" for special edition. And yes the underwear is pretty modern but it doesn't bother me much :P. It bothered me that they had such different underwear when I'd loot bodies so I searched for this mod and it is exactly what I was looking for. Endorsed!

God I want this to work but it's got a few problems. The duplicate body mesh it seriously messing with the textures of my character (i have a custom texture on, not a custom body mesh) And the vanilla loincloth is still there. I am on SSE, If that's the problem, but I wouldn't think it is.

Edit: The equipable file without the layring file seems to work, but it annoys me that it can't be it's own separate article of clothing, like how tail armors or scarves and mufflers do. Oh well, it works well enough, I guess...

      Thank you for your comment.
First of all, my SSE is not installed except for my MOD. In short, it's almost like Vanilla.
I started SSE and equip underwear, but I could not confirm problems like your comment.
My underwear MOD basically only supports MOD compatible with Vanilla, for example SAM version is converted / supported by other authors.
I think that the cause of your problem is your MOD setting. Please check the MOD and load order you installed.
