Well, I installed USLEEP version of Awakened Magicka at the original mod page. But now I found this one, I'm kinda stuck with which one should I pick. Since the original one came out later than yours, I assumed that the answer is the original?
Ah, yes. Go with the original one. This was released (with author permission) to tide people over during the rather large length of time between the USKP version and the official USLEEP version.
Might get around to taking this down at some point, just been too busy to do so.
Separating the two .esp files or making a separate version of the main file might be worth considering, however. Some of us might not opt for the "Balance Tweaks" component of the original mod. Initially, I downloaded the file w/ the NMM and didn't even discover there was an unwanted plugin until after I made a bashed patch and moved the Awakened Magicka .esp high in my load order, as per the author's suggestion. Then I reread your mod's description and realized that in my case, simply downloading the mod via NMM would not do.
Rather than leave a disabled plugin in my load order, I had to remove the mod from my NMM and replaced the original mod's .esp file in my Skyrim data folder with your USLEEP version. The process was not as intuitive or simple as adding a mod via NMM in the normal fashion and I would not have even realized the unwanted file was there had the author not advised users to change its place in the load order. I have not tried running the game with the option unchecked and the USLEEP Balanced Tweaks .esp still active, but it undoubtedly would have caused some confusion down the line.
I thought it was at least worth mentioning since USLEEP is now a thing and others like myself may come along.
A new beta update of AM is soon to be released, FYI. I'm encouraging jimkaiseriv to create his own USLEEP compatible version, but if he does not... do you think you might consider upgrading this mod?
I appreciate your reply!
*Edit* - The author has just confirmed that the new version with be released with full USLEEP compatibility.
Yeah, I saw. I was more than willing to help out if I was needed but it's good news indeed that he's getting USLEEP compat in the beta version. I'm looking forward to seeing what changes he's made.
I guess once it's done, this mod will have to come down huh? Ah well.
Nevertheless, your assistance with making AM available to USLEEP users was greatly appreciated by me. That is why I gave you kudos and requested your friendship.
As for this file, I've talked with jimkaiseriv about it and we came to the conclusion that this file is staying up for a little while yet; to give the beta time to bugfix and for people to all finish updating to the new version.

Thanks again!
It's all I've ever used and I have no idea how NMM handles such things.
