Wrong. You can use this with other texture mods. Some of the texture mods have really bad alpha blending with this particular dirt texture and this mod fixes that. Riften Dirt HD 2K is also superior to any other like this that I've seen. This texture is even better then Skyrim HD's texture, so I say it's extremely essential if you are striving for the best looking Skyrim.
At one time I used to scoff at the little stuff that only changes small details that you think go unnoticed. In truth, the small things can be just as important as the larger stuff and it makes all the difference. In this case this little texture mod makes a huge difference, even if it's just a small detail that is used in only one place in the entire game.
