Question - this mod affecting only NPCs in towns, or Bandits/Necromancers/Forsworns in camps will have too more conversations between them? (like in few scripted scenes on "first time this cave met and trigger point check" convesations (as for example those 2 in White River Watch when you first meet it), but random, independent from point triggers and constant out of battle when they are just idle around)
Or if you know mod covering their conversations - link will be awsome
I've made a patch that combines "Realistic Conversations" with the "Slight Pause Between Lines" version of "FSS - No Pause Between Lines", and the "Reduced Distance NPC Greetings" version of "No NPC Greetings". I used tweaked values, to avoid dialogue line overlap while getting rid of excessive pauses, and reducing NPC forcegreet behavior to 70 units (between the "Reduced" and "Slightly Reduced" versions). I made this because having all three mods required manual patching anyway to get the desired behavior, RD's defaults were still annoyingly large or too close, and FSS was actually still too short at 0.1 sec (I changed it to 0.2, which also sounds more natural and not excessively rushed, while also not dawdling at all).
So, now you can just have one ESP instead of three. PS: "Relationship Dialogue Overhaul" has a timing slider that can override this mod's default 0.2 sec. Be aware of that if you use RDO (recommended).
I was just stopping by to thank you for turning brainless dolls into normal people. They interact more, talk more and no more taverns with people looking at each other's faces. This MOD deserves new lines of dialogue without a doubt. (probably taken from other conversations in the game).
Perhaps an aspect of familiarity between some npcs could be added to the MOD, making them interact more with each other if they are friends or acquaintances (for example Mjoll and Aerin would talk more to each other, guild members, faction members, relatives, dogs (ok no), etc
I´ve just installed it and i don´t see any npc talking to each other. Any clue why that can be? On the other hand, i know this mod is working because it is affecting to the expressions and greetings of the npc´s.
Npc conversation is bound on time of the day. I have this bug they stop talking each other, not sure what mod causing it. in my case all Npc will stop talking each other if I enter the city at evening or night time, but if I enter it at morning or noon they will be super active all day. once I get this bug all npc will stop talking each other anymore for the rest of the game.
Did you ever find a fix for this? I have this bug too, i tried installing this mod to see if it could fix it but nope. Do you have the "Run for your lives" mod by any chance?
