Strange... I'd love to try this mod out but although it looks like I installed it right, anytime I cast the spell my charcter only gets the target's name but not the looks. I made sure the target is of the same sex and also (to make sure) that we are if the same race, esp is checked, everything seems fine, it's just the spell that doesn't work. Oh, and I also made sure there's no possibly conflicting mod overwriting it (and mod organizer sais there are no conflicts whatsoever). I just thought I'd report this weird bug as it seems most people got this to work.
It sounds like you must have skse if the name works. I've also noticed that it only works on unique actors, so if you tried it on some random guard I don't think it would work. You can try saving after using it and reloading, it might get it then.
THE FACELESS FROM GAME OF THRONES ARE HERE! For example if i turn into the bandit guarding the entrance to embershard mine, will the other bandits be hostile to me? Because if they are this mod has no use...:(
This would be a totally fun mod if there was a guaranteed way to turn back into yourself, although I'm sure that is a far more complicated and perhaps impossible to accomplish idea. Think of the roleplay possibilities! As is, that's very inventive and fun for screenshots. :-)
If custom vampire lord mods that retain your face as a VL work, this shouldn't be impossible. It's all in the proper headmesh and .tri files needed in order to return to your character's original physical appearance.
If you've ever used one of those custom VL mods and you use the wrong .tri files, you'll notice the morphs are not there upon changing to VL, but when you revert back you retain your character's appearance.
With the newer XP Groovtama skeletons you can just change the default VL skin "armor" used to the normal human body assets and the skeleton to the default player skeletons but keep the VL behavior file and it'll work without changing all the animations and bullshit that the custom VL mod people were doing. You'll get the levitate magic user animations and ground-based beastmode melee. Facial morphs and such remain but the VL hkx elongate the neck and fingers for some reason.

CopyCharacterAppearance is another alternative but you cannot edit it using RM which is unfortunate.
But the game doesn't load with it.
Could be something very simple misplaced
which often happens.
I'll try to fix it,
when I have time.
