That is indeed one of the best views of Whiterun! I already have another house there -- one of the very first mods I ever installed -- but I might have to swap it out for some characters.
Great mod, if you welcome suggestions then I'd recommend you do something so the player doesn't just get the house for free. Maybe add a quest or a note that leads you to the key which is maybe in a dungeon or something.
I totally LOVED this house--instant favorite. But sadly, it caused crashes in Riverwood. Who knows, maybe some other mod I have doesn't like it...but if there's any way it can be fixed, that would be awesome.
Hi renderblender, this house looks fantastic! One request: would you be willing to add a smelter? So many house mods neglect this... Either way, great job, and thanks for sharing!
This place looks like something I definitely would want in my game BUT one request how about a distance pic showing up river landmarks? the way the road takes the hair-pin turns? I have a few mods in I think (can't tell from your pics) in that general area and want to avoid a CTD or even a clipping co-existance if at possible. This mod looks exactly like a place I am comfortable inGreat job!! Thanks
one mod is Riverside Lodge (the build it yourself version) and the lil cave hide away right next to it ... "Rayek's Ruin"??
I never tried the build it yourself Riverside, but did have the other. I think it may be safe, depending on how large and expansive (towards Riverwood) that mod is. The bridge to get to Whiterun View is just before that 'random' wolf encounter, coming from riverwood. Before the road bends. Right over the waterfall. The house itself takes up very little real estate.
EDIT - so I went back and re-installed Riverside Lodge. . . lots.. loads.. TONS of clipping!! >.< especially on the side of this mod. I apologize for the misinformation, and being a bad guesser. Hope I caused no breakage
is nice and cozy only issue I had was the protector had the dark face bug :/ I tried both manual and nmm instal could be my game.. I like them mods, maybe a bit too much XD
Hey thanks, It was something with the face gen, at first her face was black but then I turned off auto face gen in the mod it self, she went to normal after.. So it could be one of your other mods interfering with it
Edit: also this is a port over from SkyrimSE, i didnt make it in the old creation kit, maybe it will fix if I change her in the old ck, it will be with the next update
You need to export and include the facegendata with the mod to fix grey faces. If it's completely black, the textures might be too large. I don't know how SE handles that stuff though :T

And if you don't, you're welcome to remove them yourself in the Creation Kit.
