Updates
Version 2.0 is out! Ares and Athena now use their own custom follower framework. Also they now have an installer, which allows you to choose between using the default husky textures or 2K textures made by: Aenkill and modified by PlagueHush. See credits for links to their original works.

Description
Adds two new huskies to the game, Ares and Athena. They are named after my own two real huskies. Ares and Athena are essential and will level with the player. They can be found standing outside of the destroyed house on the road past the Western Watchtower. They both have a summon spell book in their inventories that can be used to summon them to you if they get lost or wonder off, or if you forgot where you set their home to.

Compatibility
Should be compatible with just about everything. They use their own meshes, so mods that change the default husky meshes will not have an effect on them.
Since Ares and Athena have their own follower framework, they will not benefit from EFF or UFO. More detailed info below.
With V.2.2:
Since version 2.2 separates Ares and Athena from all vanilla follower factions, they will not be compatible with mods like EFF, UFO or AFT. While you can still use them along side those mods, the new dialog options will not show up for Ares or Athena, and they will not benefit from the features of EFF, UFO or AFT.

Note for multiple follower mods: I am in the process of making it possible to have both Ares and Athena follow you at the same time. Until I figure it out and release it, I advise only having one follow you at a time.

Updating
-From v.2.1: Dismiss Ares or Athena, download and install newest version, overwrite files when asked. (Must dismiss them first or the faction change will not take place and the dialog wont show up)
-From v.2.0: Just download new version, and overwrite when asked.
-From v.1.0: Since v.2.0 is a complete reworking of their following system, you must uninstall v.1.0 completely first(see uninstall section), then download and install v.2.0.

Mod Manager Installation
Just download the main file with your mod manager of choice and use the installer to choose texture options.


Uninstall
-With mod manager:
Deactivate/remove the mod
-Manually, delete all files or folders that start with BS from your Skyrim Data folder:
scripts\BS_XXX
Meshes\BS_Husky\BS_Ares.nif
Meshes\BS_Husky\BS_Athena.nif
Seq\BS Husky Companions.seq
BS Husky Companions.esp

Notes
-This is my first attempt at an animal companion mod, if there are any issues or bugs, or if there are any incompatibilities, please report them.
-Screenshots taken with default husky textures.
-If for any reason anything in my mods were used without permission, then I will be more than happy to take them down.

-Give Ares and Athena a bit of a backstory
-Make a quest involving them
-Allowing them both to follow you at the same time
