- This version is intended to be one of the last, if not the very last update for Palaces and Castles Enhanced. It aims to further polish the mod to my current standard.

- [*] Fixed the dialogue conditions for the vanilla quest "Elisif's Tribute" which prevented the quest from advancing properly.
- [*] Revised all of the new literature (mostly notes, but 2 volumes of Celann's Journals in Fort Dawnguard are over 70 pages long in total) with improved grammar and fixed typo.
- [*] Carried over a few more fixes from Unofficial Skyrim Patch, mainly for the quest dialogues in "Elisif's Tribute".
- [*] Minor design changes in several interior cells.
- [*] Several conversation scenes inside Mistveil Keep between the NPCs have been further improved.
- [+] Some of the dialogue conditions for the Dawnguard Faction NPCs have been altered. This addresses some dialogue issues that I have found to be jarring when speaking to the Dawnguard NPCs in Fort Dawnguard; not necessarily a scope of this mod but a bonus, if you will, as no other mods that I know of improve these dialogues. Examples of the notable changes are: Isran, Gunmar, Florentius, and Sorine can now greet you properly even outside of Fort Dawnguard, Florentius will stop saying Arkay is not sure about Player after Harkon is defeated, and so on.

Version V2.0
- Some users noted an issue with starting the quest "Boethia's Calling". USLEEP fixed this problem but I implemented my own approach to fix this issue by keeping the quest itself untouched.
Location data used in several interior cells have been fixed, allowing the Thieves Guild radiant quests to be available in a couple of interiors.
Blue Palace Parlour has been modified with improved lighting and decorations.
Update for the Compatibility Patches will be available in 2~3 days.

Version V1.9
- V1.9 Update on March 12, 2018
(1) Dragonsreach
Fixed CTDs upon entering the interior cell. Removed several decorative items in Farenger's room.
(2) Fort Dawnguard
Slightly moved and adjusted furniture and other clutter items for better and wider passages.
Added a Hearthfire oven.
After the Dawnguard's main quest, you will be able to obtain Bone Hawk Ring and Amulet near the Enchanting Table in the workshop area.
(3) Blue Palace
The stairs in the hallway are applied new textures.
Fixed an issue where Sybille Stentor's bed not being replaced with the new, red-colored one.
(4) Palace of the Kings
The mini-quest that takes places when you go down to the Cellar has been revised yet another time to correct some issues.
Made minor fixes to the behaviors of several new NPCs in Palace of the Kings during the Battle for Windhelm quest.
(5) Misc
Uninstallation support (will only address the issue with some NPCs getting naked after uninstalling this mod)
Type in setstage PCEChangeOutfit 100 in your console.
(6) Compatibility Patches
Updated the following patches accordingly:
Interesting NPCs patch, Immersive Citizens Patch, Holds the City Overhaul Patch

1. Fort Dawnguard is now overhauled
For a complete list of new additions and changes, please see the description.
2. Changes regarding quests and scenes
All of the vanilla dialogue scenes in Blue Palace, Dragonsreach, Understone Keep, Mistveil Keep, Castle Dour, Palace of the Kings, and Fort Dawnguard have been modified to achieve 2 things:
(1) All actors in the conversation should face each other and use proper facial expressions when appropriate.
(2) All conversations should be smooth and free of strange, awkward silences, and some scenes should be more dramatic.
In the past versions, I have revised some conversations scenes in Mistveil Keep sort of like an experiment. I noticed that many of the interaction scenes we see in the palaces and castles could use some modification.
Now, with my edits, all actors will face each other throughout their conversations. They will no longer stare at you awkwardly as they talk to another person. They will now use facial and gesture animations when appropriate.
In some scenes, actors will move to a certain location in the palaces and castles in order to start their conversations.
There are also several conversations which I modified so that they won't be triggered unless certain conditions are met.
3. Changes to specific locations
(1) Blue Palace
Remodeled the Stewards Living Quarters a bit. I did not like the former design. I have also changed the lighting to enhance the atmosphere.
Fixed a problem in which the Jagged Crown will not be correctly shown up in the Jarl's Living Quarters.
Fixed a few issues with object alignment.
(2) Palace of the Kings
Ulfric Stormcloak will now pray at the Temple of Talos and meditate in Meditation Room early in the morning. The AI packages that were supposed to allow him to do this were not functioning correctly but now are fixed.
Torsten Cruel-Sea and Captain Lonely-Gale are given new daily schedules. Twice a week, they will vist Palace of the Kings. In vanilla, these 2 NPCs were supposed to have a conversation with Ulfric, which I cannot recall seeing before.
Lighting settings in Freyja's Potions are revised (Taken some people's criticisms).
Rewritten the script regarding the Jagged Crown appearing after retrieving it for the Stormcloaks.
Fixed a typo "Palace of the Kings West WIng" > "Palace of the Kings West Wing"
(3) Dragonsreach
Removed a flickering light around the fire in the Great Hall (where Balgruuf is sitting in his usual Throne).
(4) Castle Dour
Slightly remodelled the armory area downstairs.
4. Changes to scripts and other technical things
(1) I have rewritten the script I use for the bathing area once again. It was stable before but now is even better now, no more naked Falk Firebeard attending to his court business...
(2) Removed the majority of records that were not necessary for the mod to work from the esp. There was no harm in leaving these records but it's always a good idea to keep the file pristine.

I forgot to include some of the necessary textures in the former version. Also, facegen files for 1 new NPC was missing.
-ESP File-
I have redone how Palaces & Castles Enhanced handles the change of outfit for the affected NPCs.
The exiled Jarls and servants will have their items confiscated, while the new Jarls and sercants will get dressed more appropriately. This feature has been implemented since the first release, but it had some flaws. Now in this version the script has been re-written to work flawlessly.
Issue with Legatte Rikke wearing Captain Holza's outfit has been fixed.
Minor improvements in various interior cells.
Fixed several object placement issues.
Several of the new dialogue options have been tweaked their conditions.
The AI used by the exiled NPCs in Blue Palace Old Dungeon (the former Imperial government NPCs) have been altered.

5 New Compatibility Patches have been made for the following mods:
1. Art of Magicka: The patch adjusts the position of 3 new crafting tables. Use this patch or use Jaxonz Positioner.
2. Blue Palace Fresco: Some wall paintings in Blue Palace have been moved so they are aligned with my interior design.
3. Cutting Room Floor: The USLEEP patch is incorporated into this patch.
4. Holidays: There is a festival event which takes place in Palace of the Kings.

-------Introducing Castle Dour overhaul-------
Castle Dour hasn't been changed much. The process of overhauling this castle was several days of easy modding. Not much has changed from vanilla and I do not think it will have significant effect on your game play, but you might enjoy the new layout if you're an Imperial loyalist.
Detailed information regarding new features introduced along with Castle Dour overhaul can be found in the description page.

-Assets-
One of the mesh files included in the archive needed fixing as it could potentially be a cause of CTD. Many Thanks to LordMala who enlightened me of this problem and even sent a fixed version of the file.
A big thanks to nerd of prey, the author of Immersive Laundry, for his updated meshes for the laundry items that are now used in my mod. They're much better than the original meshes made by InsanitySorrow.
-ESP File-
Visual glitches in some interiors are now fixed.
An issue with 2 bear statues in Palace of the Kings which appeared purple-tinted has been fixed. Massively grateful to Benitoite, who figured out what was causing that purple glow and showed me exactly how it can be fixed. Thank you very much, Benitoite-san!
Many of the painting textures have been renewed. These new paintings can be seen in Blue Palace, Mistveil Keep, and Palace of the Kings.
The changes in Navmesh record in Riften Worldspace has been completely taken out.
The Stone of Barenziah in Wuunferth's room in Palace of the Kings was not obtainable. I'm sorry, but the issue is finally fixed.
Some of the Palace Guards in Blue Palace will relax in Castle Dour coresponding to the changes I made there.
Fixed typo in some of the new dialogue options.
Other subtle improvements.

- Rewrote a script that handles NPCs' outfit changes.
Several minor improvements here and there in various interior cells.
Some USLEEP changes were overridden but now in this version they are correctly carried out to this mod.
Added a new Add-On: Marked and Droppable Barenziah Stones.
If you wish to locate the Barenziah Stones in the world map use this Add-On instead of other mods that add quest markers to Barenziah Stones. This Add-On will also let you take the STone out of your inventory so you can store them in containers etc.

- The Main File:
Several minor fixes and adjustments to fix several glitches in Blue Palace, The Parlour in Blue Palace, and Palace of the Kings.
Ulfric's Sellswords now have names.
Palace of the Kings has been re-remodeled. The Throne Room is now much better.
Compatibility Patches:
We have 3 more compatibility patches with Shadows, Legacy of the Dragonborn, and Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul (Full version).
Making Immersive Citizens compatible with my mod has been a very enjoyable process and the result is very rewarding. I thank Shurah fornot only allowing me to create and publish this patch but giving me a detailed instruction about making the patch.
Immersive Citizens patch changes Farenger's bath hour to 5 a.m. so he can join his friends at breakfast.
Enhanced Lights and FX Patch, ELFX Enhancer Patch, Interesting NPCs Patch have been updated.
Wrong master record with the patch for Skyrim Sewers's ESM edition has been fixed so this patch is now usable.

- Rewrote 4 scripts.
- Added missing lip files for the new dialogues.

- "Realistic Exile" This feature has been improved in terms of functionality. The basic dynamics are the same as before.
- So-called "Cellar Theft" quest, which is triggered when you enter the Palace of the Kings Cellar has been tachnically improved.
- Minor Navmesh changes in Blue Palace & its Kitchen area.
- A fix to the AI packages used by the residents of Understone Keep. When the city is taken over by the Stormcloaks, the old Jarls and his people will no longer bathe in the bath hall in Understone Keep.
- The corpses of Ulfric and Galmar will no longer persist after their deaths. Normally you don't see this issue as long as USLEEP is installed, but some mods you have might overwrite this fix or you might not have USLEEP at all so you may see their corpses lying in the palace anyway. So this mod makes sure that their corpses will be disabled once the city is taken over by the Legion and their items will be confiscated and stored in the chest in Blue Palace.
- The conversation scene from Blue Palace performed by Erikur, Bryling and some others have been changed so they won't be triggered outside Blue Palace.
- The AI packages used by the Housecarls and Sellswords in "Battle for Windhelm" have been improved. However, in my testings, the NPCs frequently failed to perform as they're instructed when the Civil War quest is running. I have honestly no clue of what can be done with this issue as it would seem that many of the NPCs' AI are either disabled or overridden when the said quest is running. This can result in some odd situations such as the Housecarls and Sellswords never join Ulfric and Galmar to attack Player and just stands there doing nothing. I'll continue to look into this issue.

- The installers
- Fixed them, NMM users had problems with them but now they work fine.
Main BSA file:
Rewrote some scripts. Added new voice files needed for 2 new dialogue quests.
The author of Wizard Hats, sirwho, kindly gave me a permission to use some of his resources.
Main ESP File
- Added 2 new dialogue quests.
1) The guards might give you a sharp eye if you're wearing something "unsuitable" when you're in the castles. The Imperial guards may tell you to change your armor when you're wearing Stormlock cuirass. The Stormcloak guards might be upset to see you wearing Imperial armor. When the guards notice you wearing the Forsworn armor, they might call you a murderer. All of this dialogue options will be only triggered inside the Jarl's residences and the Hold prisons.
2) A while later when you enter the Cellar in Palace of the Kings, you will sense some kind of trouble. Keep your head low, and be quiet.
- Wuunferth the Unliving will be wearing a new wizard hat from Wizard Hat mod by sirwho.
- Several minor fixes.
