I'm not sure I understand, why would anyone want to do this? I mean. It's part of the game, i haven't played a mage character yet but i would still want to have tomes. What is the benefits? Why?
1) to give People the option to if they want to... this is a really small mod that can be removed at anytime in the game and fully restore the functions back to normal. I give the people of the internet enough credit for them to decide for themselves as to whether or not they want to add this to their game.
2) All the mods I have Uploaded so far are just little teasers as to what I am Planning for a Bigger mod I have planned for down the road. So when I do upload it (way in the future) they will have an idea of all the mods I have placed in it.
3) I'm still new to modding so practicing the different parts of the Creation kit is fun for me.
1) add them vs Console commands. 2) Not download this in the first place. 3) uncheck this mod from load order temporarily get your spell (but 1 is faster) 4) or Eat a Banana
I'm in the process of making a bigger mod and all the Mods I made so far will be a part of it. and I'm also new to modding so it will be an EXTREMELY slow process.
and when it is finished, This mod will make more sense, but for now it is here for those who want a play thought but without accidentally learning a spell.
Mainly because I'm still new to modding and the creation kit as a whole, a few things I want to implement aren't exporting how I want them too. (mainly the scripts) , but it's because I'm still not use to it. people have had 5 years with it and I only started.
I want to have some stuff under my belt to at least show I'm learning.

another reason is for those who may want an individual piece of the larger mod.
I always thought it would be cool to have a mod which disabled traditional Elder Scrolls spell-learning (i.e. buying them like in Oblivion, clicking on a tome like in Skyrim), and adding a more "realistic" way to learn them, i.e., you have to train, practice, complete a small quest, etc etc...
Something like this would be a step in that direction. I always kind of hated the way we learn spells in these games, it would be nice to have something different.
there ARE spells in the game that are given to you in game (this will help me pin point them better), not to mention MOD spells... this mod makes it so you don't learn any Vanilla Spells via books you pick up or buy.

Give people Options.... People LOVE Options.

No spells whatsoever?
Why?
