So, i just added this mod to my game, and the courier delivered me the "museum pamphlet", but unfortunately by the time the inventory screen pops up, the courier has already put the pamphlet into MY inventory, so the courier's inventory shows empty, and my inventory has all my junk to sort through, trying to figure out what he gave me... defeating the purpose of the mod :-/ Anyone else encounter this? Or know a fix? (I'm wondering if it's a script latency issue) *EDIT- my wife (who has same load order as me) just received delivery from a courier and this mod worked perfectly for her... so, who knows)
Beware of using this Courier Shows Delivery mod in SE even after converting it to form 43 (SE compatibility). It may not work with all your mods. I just tested it and it doesn't work with Loot and Degradation's function where the courier delivers your tempered goods back to you. The courier came and there was NOTHING in the popup window to take back, so I lost my armor. Tested it twice in different scenarios with the same failed results.
Thank you for this great quality of life mod! It makes a much smoother transition when the courier delivers a package added by a mod, which is more immersive.
Agreed- this is *such* a great change, it killed me that the base game didn't do this. I found this because it's essential if using the black horse courier mod, but I can't believe I lived without it before.
Yes. I compared the script source of wicourierscript.psc between the two mods and found that the patch available here is still valid for the latest version of PCS. I play Skyrim Special Edition and it works just fine. To anyone wondering, you must open the plugin file CourierShowsDelivery.esp (the replacer patch for Provincial Courier Service) in SSE Creation Kit and save it. Then you need to adjust your load order so that CourierShowsDelivery.esp loads after Provincial Courier Service.esp.
Stradivuckos your mods are gameplay blossom. Please make a mega merge of all or most of your mods. xD The current SV Mod Merge could be expanded. Can't never get enough free slots in load order you need to be stingy about them like with the money.
Don't mention it You deserve all the possible credit for this. It's one of this quality of life (in skyrim) mods that one doesn't even realize how much one needs them, until they are right in front of ones face.
