  For complete beginners, I recommend reading Bethesda's Creation Kit tutorials before starting, specifically the basics, quest dialogue, and AI packages.

  I'm writing this from memory as I no longer have steam on my laptop. Some parts may not be 100% clear or correct. However, I was able to do this as my first modding project and without a guide, so you'll be fine. If you're not, leave a comment and I'll do my best to clear up any confusion.
