If the file structure doesn't change for the remastered edition, then this will work as is for the PC. I don't know what would be involved with adding this to Xbox.

These ARE glorious textures. Amazing work

I was always bothered by the 'blocky artefacts on the dwemer textures, not to mention the sort of dirty colour the are. And this mod looks like it gets rid of it. I'll install and endorse the first chance I get. Thankyou very much

PS: Any chance of a half sized set of textures? My current internet connection is pretty terrible, and my rig isn't anything amazing - so that option would be nice.

      You're very welcome. And thankyou

I would have created the 1Ks myself; but like I said, my internet is very bad. And also, others may want them too

This mod gave me an idea. You see these weapons and armors have been sitting around for 2 centuries in damp dank dungeons so it makes sense that their tarnished and dull looking but that doesn't mean they have to stay that way does it? I was thinking what if you "polished" the weapons with dwarven oil? So there could be recipes in the forge for these polished versions.

Would even be a great idea for standard dwarven armor crafted at the forge. Use dwarven oil to make it shiny and polished.

Awesome idea! Dwarven oil by itself couldn't be used for polishing, but you can combine it with an abrasive like powdered corundum. In RL corundum is the second hardest material known and is commonly used as an industrial abrasive. Another idea would be to use a small piece of dwarven metal to burnish the surface, but then you wouldn't get as shiny or polished of a surface.

Based on the size of the file, I'm assuming 2k texture size, but would be nice if you stated it either on the front page or on the download description of the texture size. Its important to some people Looks really good.

Ya, I really need to improve some of my descriptions. I'll add the texture size to both locations soon.

What's the armor your character is using? It looks like scaled armor, but with dwarven textures and metal instead of Nord.

I'd like to know this too. It looks nice - if it's your own mod, you could upload it for the body type you use.
Then others can do conversions if they really wanted to.

Yep, Madcat221 is right. All I did for the color change was to exchange the environment map ore_quicksilver_e.dds with bronze_e.dds in Nifskope.
