Uploaded 1.3 in various versions, all with a small overdue update to some chairs that made the player collide with some tables when you get up from that chair. Additionally there are two versions for Frostfall users that have a heat source added near the rentable bed, because sleeping a full 8 hours or more could get the player cold in that spot.
Update 1.4 only for the "Campfire" dependent version, so mainly for use with Frostfall, but a good choice in any case. I made some changes mainly for my own use and decided to share this version. I added a Smelter to the yard after all and I think it actually fits and is not an eyesore at that location. It makes the Inn even more of an outpost with everything an adventurer needs to survive as there are no crafting stations anywhere near, great for characters that want to avoid towns. Also added some hard to find ingredients to Nalayra's stock needed for contraceptive potions if you are into that type of RP. Inside I changed the lighting over the bar to make it (and the vendor) more visible. Reduced the length of a light beam so it no longer goes through the mezzanine floor. This will likely be the last update to this mod, (this time I mean it) thanks to all that have supported my work with your kind comments and endorsements. Cheers
Hello and thank you all for the wonderful comments! And WOW made Hotfiles today only five days after release! This really made my day thank you for the support and enjoying our work so much!
I have just uploaded the first updated version for both files; there was an issue with the exterior navmesh where the roads had not connected right and it is fixed now so that followers and travelers will use the roads around the Inn without a hitch. If you encountered any issue due to this we are very sorry and encourage you to download again one of the new files. There are some other cosmetic fixes that will be addressed shortly in another update of the current files.
As for some requests made; there will be no quested version. In a way you do have the marriage quest available to you and with the two innkeepers this also gives you a place to stay and a business income. There will be no version were the Inn is player owned off the bat, sorry.
Aside from any more bug fixes if they should crop up, there will be no additions or changes made to this mod. Allot of sweat and heart went into making this, and for me it was most likely my last mod for the old Skyrim. Time will tell if I mod for the remastered version, thank you all for your support and the fact that you enjoy this mod makes it worth all the hard work. Cheers.
I love this mod and I want my favourite character to live here! Neither of the innkeepers seem to actually be marriageable though? Neither one brings up the "oo is that an amulet of mara" dialogue when I speak to them while wearing one. I've tried using console commands to reset their relationship status with the player to various levels with no effect. Is there a quest or some other thing I have to do first?
So the NPCs and their schedules were created by a friend and I have never tried to marry either to be honest. They are supposed to be marriageable and as far as I know just the standard vanilla quest is required. I see what I can find out but I can't trouble shoot that myself. Do you use any mods that affect the relationship status? Could be that neither likes you enough? No offense.
I don't have any mods that would affect relationship status except for the "marry (almost) anyone mod" which I installed after I first couldn't marry them, so that's not the problem. I successfully used it to make Vorathyn a follower, but he still won't notice the amulet of mara, and using the marriage command from the mod also seems to have no effect (no marriage dialogue, doesn't make me own the cell).
I'm afraid I'm not sure what you mean by "just the standard vanilla quest" being required? Do you mean the main game quest must be completed before they become marriageable? Or do you mean the small random quests such as bandit bounties which are given by vanilla inkeepers--if that's what you mean, neither of the NPCs from the Inn seem to give those quests for me. I'm using the "alternate start" mod, and it seems because of that the NPCs from the Inn only respond to the "heard any rumors?" dialogue prompt which usually begins those quests by telling me to go and investigate Helgen. (I'd rather not do that on this character, I'm RPing as not-the-dragonborn for artificial difficulty on side quests and to get a break from random dragon attacks, haha--I can try it to see if it works, though.)
I wonder if it's just not really possible to marry the NPCs from the Inn on this specific playthrough because of that--since the alternate start mod prioritizes me starting the main quest, maybe their dialogue just won't bring up the quest that would make them like me until after I've done at least that part of the main quest.
Just wanted to say thanks for this inn. I installed it in my current game when I was first putting my modlist together and forgot I'd done so; it was wonderful to "find" it the first time I walked down the road by Fort Sungard, just as night was starting to close in. I've got a winter overhaul installed as well, so it was just perfect. Cheers!
I just came across your Mod and I'm really impressed. I've been looking for mods with a "Hobbit" theme for my Hobbit Themed PC build and this just about jumps out of the movie. I can't endorse it yet but I will as soon as I install it and play through the area.
Hey thank you for your comment and I am glad you like it. I also have two Hobbit themed house mods, one small and one fairly large; they are Cozy lakeside Cabin and Island Hobbit home. You can look them up by typing Kursan in the Nexus search bar and select "users" from the categories; it will take you to a page with all my mods.
Nice and cozy I like it very much! This will be my favorite sleep-over during the long journeys on the road. Just a sidenote: before I played it, I gave it a quick check with TES5Edit and it found some automatically cleanable UDRs and ITMs... maybe you better have a look at those? ( I forgot to write down the details, mostly ITM if I remember right. Ssssshh, it was only 2 hours ago.... sorry)
This mod removes Location data from 'GraniteHillLocation' pertaining to WETravel and Caravans. Maybe this is harmless, I don't know, but I'm wondering if this is a dirty edit that needs to be corrected or if it is necessary for function of your mod? Your mod is awesome by the way. Thank you!
I did run an auto-clean (sorry I can't think of what that's actually called, I'm not quite awake yet) and manually cleaned it as well, but it's certainly possible I missed that bit. I have seen a caravan pass by without trouble, but that certainly doesn't mean it won't/hasn't caused trouble for anyone else. I'll take a look later when I get home, thanks for letting us know
Looks like a great mod. I watched MxR's review and want to try it out but there's just one little thing.. the signpost in front says 4E 324. It's breaking my immersion fam.
Using this with Inns and Taverns and seems to be okay, have had no problems in entering and leaving. Also comes with an Oven, so finally can use all those flour bags and apples that I accumulated.
Useful to know that it also has two followers available to recruit, using Arthmoor Alternate start mod so that can come in very useful.
If you mean they're vastly different colors from their bodies try reinstallin'. Someone else had a similar facetint bug in spite of the files being included in the mod and they said reinstalling fixed it. So give that a go and let us know if it doesn't help!
I've encountered the same problem, however for me it's just been with the male one. I uninstalled, then reinstalled the mod and it was fine for that session, but then when I played again (didn't change load order or anything at all) the dark elf male's head was back to this bright pink: http://i.imgur.com/9YRzdoe.jpg
It's just him, every other npc in the game and added from the mod is just fine. The only other bug I've seen was that the female dark elf innkeeper was floating over her bed with her eyes wide open.
Hi, face discoloration is 99% a face-tint issue. However It should not be a face-tint issue, as we have packed ours along with the mod. Being that it worked once for you, this points to something other than a face-tint issue, and is therefore an issue with your game or rather your particular install and or load order. As for Nalayra, this is an example of Skyrim bugging out for no reason. This has not happened to either of us, nor has it been reported, so, again, this is likely an issue with your game, and likely will not persist. Sorry I can't be more helpful but if we do not encounter it we cannot fix it.
