Apologies for the constant updates everyone, I seemed to find one bug after another but now, I can confidently say 99.9% of them have been squashed. Barring an update to the game or a change I need to carry over from the unofficial patches, this mod is considered completely finished and as such, no more updates will be released.
Its been a wonderful time everyone, enjoy this mod, enjoy it in all of its bug-free glory!
The word wall in Shadowgreen Cavern doesn't give Laa, 2nd word for Drain Vitality and the word wall in Arcwind Point looks like it's already been visited and thw word collected (all 3) and I have not been to Arcwind Point before. It shows and says I learned Haas twice but my shout menu only shows Gaan.
I have a question and I hope it won't come as a stupid one... or not too much.
I downloaded your very first version long ago and merged your esp into another custom one I use with lot of gameplay changes. Now I played for a long time with the same game file and didn't encounter any bugs, but maybe because I didn't do the main quest or any other long vanilla skyrim questline.
Now I want to start again with your latest version but idk into which one of my custom files did I merge the very first version of this mod. Also, I think I deleted the list of mods merged in the particular plugin because Wyre Bash won't show me the original name of your file in any of the descriptions of my custom esps.
Basically I want to manually delete the changes of this mod data from the custom plugin I merged it into, but I don't even know which one it is. Could you help me telling me If I can look for any particular change via TES5Edit or the CK to know it is from your original mod to see if I can locate where did I merge it to, and tell me which entries shall I delete?
I hope I made myself clear. Thanks, even if you can't help me.
It might be a bit difficult to do, but not impossible. If you look on the description you'll see the moved word walls locations that you can manually delete. Although, this mod has changed a lot so it might not be accurate, you might just be better deleting and re-merging the entire thing.
That's mostly the problem, I can see the list of changes but idk where are those edits located. Would it be the worldspace section? And then I should look for the locations of the original walls and the new ones?
I think I may have to remerge as you say, but I want to try it first and, well, identify which esp is it :p
Yes, a good bunch of them should be in the worldspace section, but I did make a few changes to some cells as well so you might also want to look there too.
To the Mod Author, as noted in your discription, you mention you had move the wall in Ustengrav, however if your doing the main quest anyway this isn't really necessary since you'll be directed to Ustengrav anyway and the scripting for that quest will unlock the area to the wall.Another fine point if you're not doing the main quest what's the point in pursuing the walls anyway as you'll have no way of unlocking the words. Other than that A great mod, now if only someone would create a mod that change the need to go to Delphine to get the horn.
Sorry about the late reply. Regarding what you've said I'd agree with you, but some people who roleplay would probably like to be Dragonborn and find Word Walls without having to associate themselves with the Greybeards, they may be a minority, but moving the Word Walls anyway has no impact on those who will do the MQ, hence the change.
I ended up pulling it constantly because it was a pain to keep updated, Steam Workshop is terrible like that. I'll probably re-upload it to the workshop in a few weeks maybe.
