The project began while playing through Wyrmstooth's main quest, as the island's weather system was jarring for me even with CoT installed. So with the use of xEdit and (the final stable version of) TESVsnip, I went about creating the patches not only for Wyrmstooth, but also for tropical and summer weather (by eliminating all snowy weather).
In addition, I also created a water patch so that the frustrating "dark-water" effect is eliminated by reverting the water color to vanilla, which makes CoT more compatible with your favorite water mods.
I downloaded and installed this through Nexus Mod Manager, but I'm not seeing any difference in Wyrmstooth, notably with sun and sky effects. Is the mod compatible with the latest version of Wyrmstooth, currently 1.19.2? I was unable to find any other mod on the Nexus that loads COT effects into Wyrmstooth so I'm reliant on this one working (as without COT effects, my ENB preset doesn't work bar lens flare and lame attempts at god rays).
I might've installed the mod incorrectly, but there's no installation instructions provided on how to actually do so: is it sufficient to just download via mod manager and install and it'll work, or is there other steps needed? ^_^
Thanks for the reply. I'll try waiting 6-12 hours in-game, leaving and re-entering the world space and seeing if that works.
While NMM is not officially developed for by Nexus any more, the community edition continues to receive updates and it still works. It would be too much effort for me to move to Vortex when NMM still functions as a meaningful mod manager for me :D
EDIT: After installing the correct ESP (since NMM didn't want to ask me to install the optional file), I can't tell if its working or not. The sun effects aren't really loading, but it may be that the mod can't capture the updated weathers of the latest Wyrmstooth version, so its not really loading in as intended.
wish we had a winter overhaul for the whole skyrim ,like snow falling in whiterun ,solitude and even the reach. i'll take the patches tho ,they are quite welcome thanks sa547
CoT made the water really dark and basically stopped my Watercolor mod from even working, tried everything to get them working but failed, so i came to the conclusion that they were incompatible. This patch solved the issue perfectly, my waters are beautiful again and i didn't have to sacrifice any mods in the process!
The Tropical Edition patches are to be used only if you need CoT weather without snow. The DLC part is only needed if you have DLCs installed, it comes in two because some people are still stubborn about keeping only Skyrim.
I mean, I left is as it is untouched. Only the water color in the CoT weathers is altered in the patch. Didn't want to mess with the other colors, and I leave to my ENB preset to do the rest of the work.

Do note that the plugin made for Wyrmstooth was for the version that existed before jonx0r removed it from Nexus years ago.
NMM is no longer supported by Nexus, as it is pushing the use of Vortex.
