Just uploaded version 1.0.5. To those using 1.0.4, uninstall that patch, It's awful and created more bugs than it fixed. This is why you do not mod late at night. :I
The problem for the sign taking your money and not creating the workbenches has been fixed, I quickly tested it myself.
For those of you that have already built the main house and have had the workbenches disappear, there is an option in the main house's workbench that will re-enable the ones outside. Otherwise give yourself 5000 gold and re-buy the house. A better way of handling this will come soon.
Sorry for the trouble and thanks for your continued support.
Tracking this one until major issues are fixed. I'm so stoked about the idea. I've browsed the entire host of player homes and the only one that came close to this mod's concept for me was the one where you built your own Orc Stronghold(which unfortunately is probably incompatible with this one since it's around the same area(Greenspring Hollow). . Looking forward to the future fixes! Still playing Oldrim because it's the only one I've ever known(and the only one so far I can get to run on my low-spec laptop) . Kudos to the effort on this!
whenever i try to cast the "bless home" spell it just says that the house isnt suitable (or something like that) anyone else having this issue? when i go down to the basement of the house the kids beds are normal sized beds that i can sleep in as well? really strange since i know i built the kids beds...
So, I originally installed this mod on a fresh new save, became thane of whiterun and ran to where the house is. The first time i couldnt see the sign to buy the house so i came here to read the comments and some said reinstalling the mod would fix that. After reinstalling the mod the purchase sign showed up but i cant interact with it. I currently only have landscape visual mods like SFO. Any help would be appreciated.
Edit; I reinstalled this mod manually and I can now purchase the land and it gives me the deed, but absolutely nothing happens after that. Nothing spawns and the sign is still there.
Edit 2; I uninstalled the mod from NMM, loaded my game, saved, then reinstalled the initial release. The sign worked perfectly and vanished and the work benches appeared. I reinstalled the hotfix but i did not replace the .esp. Everything seems to be working just fine now.
Hopefully this helps others with the issue. I'll update this comment if something happens.
Really nice looking mod placed in great area of Skyrim especially with Great forest of whiterun mod. Sadly it really does need compatibility patch to work well with Great Forest.
First off, I want to say you did a great job on this. Amazing work really.
The only issues I found with 1.05 was the "bless spell not working", and huge frame drop around the tree, but this only happens sometimes, looking for a conflict on my side, especially since, I'm the only one reporting that. I mean dropping to 1 FPS from 60, with or without an ENB.
Again, all the choices, the way this was made, really over the top.
It is likely because if you examine the 'child' beds once they are built you will note they are not labeled as a child's bed. Also note, I believe the "Bless this house spell' is part of Multiple Adoptions which requires two things: 1 child bed and 1 child chest per child. Without them, I do not believe the spell is capable of working.
A similar issue is listed below included in an October 18 post with a possible solution. It doesn't say if anyone tried the suggestion to see if it worked though.
My favorite area in Skyrim, with now what seems to be my favorite home! I haven't checked it out yet, but I will when I get a minute. It's difficult trying to find the right home.
Im having trouble, I started a new game, Got the dragonstone, Killed the dragon, became the Thane of whiterun, but everytime i press E on the sign nothing happens? (I do have plenty of gold)
This is pretty much the only player home I've installed and use. I've tried a lot but I hate that they are just freebies or offer too many goodies for free, or just don't fit into the world. This fits beautifully
Only more than a month late, but I'm finishing converting it over and getting a few WIP bits done. Once it's all done and I think it is working, I'll release it for SSE.

Something like this with a purchasing price AND build requirements is perfect.
Hopefully it comes to SSE in time.
