This mod is old and no longer supported. I just left it up for reference. This mod has been fully integrated into BUVARP: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/85540/?, which also has been ported to SE: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/13562?
I have just browsed 35 pages of follower/companion mods for SSE and haven't seen this mod being ported yet, so I would like to make a request for porting this mod to SSE.

Hey Andrealphus (been awhile huh? ) Good to come back to Skyrim and see you're still at it making this small yet awesome tweaks/fixes/additions, like skyf0rger said this should have been in the game from the start. I mean they go to the trouble of making Elsa a unique npc with a backstory and then do nothing with her, such a waste especially since your encounter with her is so unique she's one of the few npcs in Skyrim who after encountering her I found myself wondering what ever happened to her so making her a follower is a great touch it also makes her rather unique as out of all of the followers you can get in Skyrim none of them are bandits or anything of the sort so it's a nice roleplay option as well.
Yeah I noticed the Kesh mod, also very cool. Hmmmm... If you're considering other characters to try this for I just had a couple ideas.
Alva: I think of this because of how she used to be "bugged" I remember during one of my old playthroughs I stole her diary and killed Morvath without killing her and when I found her in Morvaths lair she wasn't hostile toward me which I found weird so I ended up just leaving her there on that playthrough. Though later the unofficial patch eventually "fixed" her so that she would be hostile to you but looking back I thought it might have been interesting if you could recruit her to follow you after killing Morvath if you left her alive. Would make a nice roleplay option if you're a good character you could play it like you're assuming that she was just being manipulated by Morvath (when you read her journal her outlook on like seems to change pretty quickly between the first 2 paragraphs and the rest of the journal) but because of what she did she can't go back to Morthal so you're kind of taking pity on her and if you're a vampire/evil character as you could play it like a "I'm gonna let you live but you have to serve me" kind of deal.
Fjola: The bandit leader of Mistwatch if you let her live and make her husband go away she thanks you and tells you she will repay you someday and that's the end of it you get nothing except that the npcs in Mistwatch will be friendly to you from then on. I though getting Fjola as a follower for siding with her would be nice and again a good follower option if you're playing a bad guy (which you have to be to let her go since she's catching and selling slaves).
Though making her as a follower would likely be more tricky then Eisa or the others because she's not considered an actual unique NPC when you meet her she's just labeled as a Bandit Chief and even her appearance is randomly generated so trying to make her unique and into a follower might end up breaking stuff and might not be worth the hassle.
I think Bujold's a good candidate for turning into a follower, especially if you can tie it up with the choice of ratting her out and ejecting her out of Thirsk.
Just remembered there's a few more candidates: Selveni Nethri of Southfridge Sanctum, Salma of Ironbind Barrow.
This is one of those things that should have been an option in the vanilla game. The writers went to the trouble of tying her into the events at that bandit camp near Whiterun, but then you never see her again after the Pale Lady quest. I'm surprised no one else ever thought to make her recruitable. Great job!
If you don't mind the suggestion for future updates, it would be good to have the option to tell her that her Khajiit friend is dead. When she escaped from Frostmere Crypt she didn't know what his fate was - all she knew was that he was becoming unhinged, had stolen the sword, and was missing. Being able to give her closure and express condolences would be a nice thing to be able to do.

I'm actually thinking of giving the same treatment to Orthorn, Nelecar and Valdr.
I already did Kesh the Clean, though.
I might also make an all in one package, but me and PlagueHush have agreed to implement them into USMP as well.
