As a real-life bookworm, it is a joy to find new and exciting reading material in Skyrim - especially the dark, grim side of these stories. Thank you so much, endorsed!
I don't know why more people don't download book mods. The books are usually short and add an interesting depth to a playthrough. Plus, I've always liked reading the books scattered around Skyrim and always challenged myself to find them all.
A cool thing you can consider for the future is making interesting Penny Dreadful short stories and get aspiring writers to submit their grim entries. Here is the wiki description:
Penny dreadful is a pejorative term used to refer to cheap popular serial literature produced during the nineteenth century in the United Kingdom. The term typically referred to a story published in weekly parts, each costing one penny. The subject matter of these stories was typically sensational, focusing on the exploits of detectives, criminals, or supernatural entities.
While the term "penny dreadful" was originally used in reference to a specific type of literature circulating in mid-Victorian Britain, it came to encompass a variety of publications that featured cheap sensational fiction, such as story papers and booklet "libraries".

Maybe a publishing house of some sort, or an NPC such as a *shouter* to sell them in town... Shall see :)
-Edit-
It seems there is already some mod out there like Skyrim Publishers. Although, I do not know if it is still active.
I do have a book with numerous of their tales, so once I get to it, I could adapt some of them.
And glad you like it!
